So is it just me or is anyone else about to die of old age trying to get their super in D2?
I can't find a way to boost the charge rate either.

The amount of super gained from PvE kills does need to increase. But I personally enjoy the way it is in PvP.

I'll repost this. Here's a quick way to get your super https://youtu.be/RosX6hZAcxM

PVE Abilities especially supers take far too long to recharge PVP Abilities need a small boost not a massive one. Golden Gun is like a lit match in the wind; arc staff is like watching Superman have a fit. The former needs a bit more time to use.
-
In PVE we need to hae a faster recharge I think. It's pretty slow and you don't get to use it that much. Also in PvE I think we need a bit more Power ammo drops. I went long stretches without any and you need that stuff for the boss. In PvP I really like the way the abilities charge they should change nothing. It puts more of an emphasis on gunplay so I'm fine with that

Now all of you need to use that thingy that says krakaka, instead of using your abilities. That must been very hard to understand and know how to use those weapens. Becouse now you must point and shoot. It's not easy in the beginning but don't worry you all will get the hang of it, you will probebly suck at trials at first but who cares.
-
Silver lining, if you jump with a Warlock you should have your super when you land.
-
I like the rate in PvP but would like it to charge faster in PvE.
-
I think that is better, people can get more gun kills instead of super kills.
-
We're used to 300 intellect charging times, I'd hope leveling your character up and other upgrades will speed super charging time in D2. Not worried yet. But damn, give me sone ammo in the strike.
-
I think a lot of people are reading this in the context of pvp. Yes it takes ages but in the interest of balance it does emphasise gunplay. It will be interesting when the good weapons get into the pool during the full game. Pve is a huge issue. Killing adds barely adds any super energy and is quite ridiculous that you don't get your super until at least halfway through the strike. Of course it's only a beta and maybe there is armour perks that boost the rate but if not then I hope bungie make changes before release because at it stands it's really frustrating having these awesome supers and not being able to use them.

Edited by Rohirin: 7/19/2017 7:38:20 AMIf you have a complaint about the super charging time, please take it up with Gary. He did steal your light after all.
-
Maybe in the full game you will be able to get exotics to aid this, remember this is a demo, haven't played it yes as on the xb1 does it still have strength intellect and discipline
-
As far as I'm concerned, this super charge rate hurts newbies. It is more difficult to get a kill because of higher TTK, and removing an ability that is almost "Press L2 and R2 at the same time to earn free kills" if you are not running sentinels by the way. Yep, that was me that cast Ward of Dawn. Anyway, (not something with G) PvP can be tough for Newbies.
-
I'm on xbox so haven't had a chance to play yet, but watched Goth play all day and it was a main complaint from him. Super and all other abilities just take so long to charge. I'll be playing later today and I'm sure it will be something I'll be concerned with.

Get many many kills. Your super will charge very quickly. 0 kills = super slow super What is not to like?
-
Edited by Masko: 7/19/2017 8:26:58 AMGood. It's supposed to be earned, not waited out. I'm sure they'll consoder shortening it a bit, but it should still stay at a long charge rate and be available only once in a Countdown match and 2 times tops in stuff like Control. Destiny 2 is not the ability spam simulator that Destiny was and I'm enjoying myself immensely now. But that's just me. Everyone should make posts like this (or a bit more constructive) so Bungie gets as much feedback as possible.
-
I end up never using my super because it takes so long to charge that I just forget about it.
-
I think orbs really charge your super quick maybe even quicker than D1 possibly
-
You must not know what a BETA is?
-
I'm all for more gunplay.
-
Normally I'll get 2 supers per comp match

The class ability of the hunter lacks the same level of utility as the titan(mini shields) and warlock (heals or dmg). The new warlock class basically has the hunter class ability baked in to its super. So to solve this why not have the hunters class ability grant invisibility for the fire team ( think the nightstalker's smoke bomb ) . This solves the problem and will make the hunter far more competitive
-
I think super regen time was a tad to quick in D1 so I like that they are making changes. That being said from what I have read they seem to have gone too far the other way.
-
You have to play objectives and get kills to get super. No more free supers. -blam!-ing amazing change if you ask me.
-
I like that there's a lot less supers in PvP. I was such a fkn super magnet in D1.
