It's similar to me saying that every single McDonald's worker is a complete failure who has no better path in their life than to work at a fast food restaurant. I had 3 jobs before I was 18. Neither of them were at fast food restaurants, but at least I don't have the audacity to suggest my job was a more respectable job than theirs. Everyone has to start somewhere. Have some respect for some folks, and get off your high horse thinking that your job was more honorable than theirs.
