Not sure if any of you have seen this, but I highly recommend it if you like these guys. I myself was a little hesitant at first, because I stopped listening to NIN when With Teeth released. I just felt he was taking his music in a direction I wasn't on board with. But Trent Reznor's new album that he is coming out with has some pretty good sound to it. It actually reminds me of the old, grittier sound they used to have. Trent also throws a bone to the creators of Polybius as well. Any bands you guys used to listen to but stopped? Any bands fall out of your favor but landed right back in it?

  • Funny NIN relates story: My friend worked at a movie theater, and when some friends and I went to pick her up from work, she needed to stay a bit extra. So she let us go sit down in the back row of a theater to wait for her. It was playing Pocahontas and wasn't very crowded. During a song, one of my friends started interjecting NIN lyrics to be funny. It wasn't, but we were dumb teens so we thought it was. So right as I said the lyric: "I have a big ol' d*ck and I like to have fun..." The movie went really quiet and my voice saying that lyric echoed through the whole theater for all the kids and parents to hear. My friends immediately acted shocked saying "Oh my gosh, how could you!?!?" And a parent's voice from near the front stood up, turned around, and said "Yeah, I like your language too!" Being a scrawny little kid faced with a large angry dad, I just said sorry as I got up and ran out of the theater haha.
