NMS is the only open world space game I ever played. I was bored quick.
I'd like to hear some opinions of people who played both.

NMS held the promise of an amazing game, but infinite choice does not equal infinite replay value. I platinumed NMS in the launch week, so that tells you how much depth that game has. Elite Dangerous has a lot more to it. I played the first game as a child, and it stuck with me forever. I have been waiting for this to land on PS4, and I have to say, there is a lot to this game, bit it is one of those self motivating games, you have to go looking it does not come to you. One thing that I have to say though, is that I am not seeing the steep learning curve, that others have talked about. It only took me an hour or so to familiarise myself with the control scheme, and I have not had any issues. FD have done a great job of mapping the core controls into this game.
