I have a confession to make
i lied about getting a dog in a couple months.
why?
i got a pupper sooner than that. he's pooped on the floor twice already and learned the command sit. still doesn't respond to his own name yet...or to the command "no".
advice?

Try and maintain a fair balance of positive and negative reinforcement. It's one thing to whip a dog's ass for shitting on the floor, but in my experiences, as weird as it sounds, you get much better results out of praising them for shitting outside. Reward him when he responds to your commands appropriately. You'll see results.
