Adventure things in patrol and higher TTK in PvP and the story. Those are the only things I can think of at the moment.

The amount of things that can insta-kill you in D1 has been annoying lately. I tried to get back into crucible to scratch that itch, but I've spent more time looking at my ghost than I have actually playing. A higher TTK might give more opportunity for lesser skilled guardians to learn and get better, or as the hardcore players say; GiT GudDder.

I like it because it means the player with more skill will usually win, rather than the first person to get the sights on the enemy wins the engagements.
