Why is there so much negativity on these forums surrounding Destiny 2? Yes, the Bungie team is making changes. So many people in this community sound like stubborn old geezers who are resistant to change, talking about "Back in my day..." It's a new game - changes are expected. Otherwise, you'd all be complaining because it's too much like Destiny 1. Personally, I'm excited for a fresh start.
I challenge you to write something you look forward to in Destiny 2.
I look forward to: seeing how the character creation will turn out. Will we have plenty more options to make our Guardian stand out from the rest? I don't like how my human character looks (and thus I wear a helmet at all times) and I desperately look forward to a fresh start.

New environments, weapons, armor & not having to go to orbit all the freakin time... Soo much time wasted on loading screens.

Looking forward to the reactions when D2 is given the illustrious 6 out of 10 again

The story looks promising

Meeting new people to play with

OP, character creation? Really, that's it! A post on being positive about D2 and you look forward to a part of Destiny 2 that has NO significance apart from how you look..... That tells me you are not to impressed with D2 so far! Sure if Bungie give us more options to stand out fine but it's not a game breaker if they don't......

I'm looking forward to everything.

Lost Sectors, Adventures and Patrols in general....look to be alot more fun
-
New Striker titan changes. Love the way Fist of Havoc looks, and I like the move towards titans being more tank-y than they were in D1 with the wall thing too. Favorite subclass in D1, and it looks even better here. Titan in general, really, looks like a lot of fun.

Pve in general. Pvp im just waiting to play before getting happy/disapointed. Im not sure how the new 4v4 with only one person getting powerammo is going to turn out for single players. But im sure its going to be great from a competitive point of view :)

I honestly can't think of anything... maybe the raids I guess? The magic of Destiny went away for me quite some time ago,

All of the patrol stuff and story

Updated patrol with Adventures, Treasure Hunts, Lost Sectors and Flashpoints.

Im just looking forward to D2 in general.

Everything except for the new subclass system

The only thing I can say I'm really excited about is new worlds to see and the story. I'm skeptical but keeping an open mind until the beta about the changes to subclasses and perk trees, fixed rolls on weapons, 4v4 crucible, new weapon loadouts(primary, primary, "power"), in game lore, and how pve and raids will be now to work with the new weapon loadouts. The only thing I'm really upset about is the loss of TTK subclasses but I'm sure we will get them back later in a dlc.

Probably just that I get to start a new chapter of the game...even if the story in destiny 1 was garbage, the raids and even PvP were something I looked forward to afterwards. 4v4 is going to create far more close matches or overly dominated matches because team work is a major point this time, not just running around getting kills with your shotgun. Pve seems to have more to do compared to destiny 1, it looks like patrols will actually be worthwhile asides from grinding for damn resources. The supers look kinda of...meh, to put it into perspective, but that's just looks and I can't wait to try it to properly judge it (because I used to think striker and defender were the absolute most boring classes in year one destiny, and then they kind of grew on me in the later years, becoming my favorites...right behind sunbreaker) The watered down skill trees kind of disappoint me but after thinking it over it kind of makes you have to properly choose what you want, not just slap on the best load out with no repercussions. I am looking forward to weapon drops not being randomized, because my number one reason being, they would have to give every weapon better flat stats because perks won't be there to help the weapon out. And balancing in PvP. The main drawback to this is obviously "replayability" but honestly...if you had 1 slightly better palindrome, why would you keep the 10-15 others that you get that aren't as good. I could go on, but for the sake of your eyes, I'm stopping.

Stuff to do....!!!!

The new PVP, to be honest, I think 4v4 is going to be fun. Plus I'm excited to see how Control will work out in the Beta with a 4v4 style
-
Pretty much everything. Nothing about it so far has made me question anything they are doing with this game.

All of it

The fact that it's a challenge...

Everything?
