Why is there so much negativity on these forums surrounding Destiny 2? Yes, the Bungie team is making changes. So many people in this community sound like stubborn old geezers who are resistant to change, talking about "Back in my day..." It's a new game - changes are expected. Otherwise, you'd all be complaining because it's too much like Destiny 1. Personally, I'm excited for a fresh start.
I challenge you to write something you look forward to in Destiny 2.
I look forward to: seeing how the character creation will turn out. Will we have plenty more options to make our Guardian stand out from the rest? I don't like how my human character looks (and thus I wear a helmet at all times) and I desperately look forward to a fresh start.

Dungeons and stuff to do on patrol
-
I look forward to how many crybabies will complain about weapons being OP and ruining them for PVE players.

Playing Destiny 2

More to do on the planets
-
a gun as satisfying to shoot as the sleeper simulant, im going to miss that thing
-
Everything. As someone who stoped playing shortly after year 2 gear started to drop and before TTK. I look forward to all the changes, though in talking to some friends I hear it got better for some stuff worse for others stuff.
-
The going to orbit thing is pretty much gone, the new System looks a lot better. It's kind of like what they're doing in op. Health for r6s
-
Like the op I am looking forward to a fresh start, new tasks to discover, new areas to explore, new gear to find and use. I am purposely not watching the videos or the reveal information. I want to discover it all by myself.
-
The new focus on the Cabal as the main enemy and the new patrol modes. The opening mission also looks nice.

It will be some new content. That is about all we have to look forward to. The game "play" has gotten nothing but worse for three years and shows no sign that it won't continue down this failed path since they are holding on to the people who are ruining the game in house. So yes new content.

- Guided games - Integrated clans - Double hand cannons - Primary play increase in all modes - Content - Fixed rolls It's probably safe to say that my money was well spent imo.

It is not a question of change itself...but a question of what changes specifically and what the logic and rationale was behind these changes. For me...some of these changes fundamentally change features that made Destiny for me...and will severely reduce or simply remove those features I loved. The new vision for Destiny is so far either underwhelming or a disappointment. Before the reveal there was a whole lot I was looking forward to. But the reveal and subsequent information releases have taught me to seriously curb my enthusiasm and hopes for this game. Fee weeks ago....I was looming forward to creating a new character...and had high hopes for all the new possibilities and features that would surely be added. ....but...based on all the information about design we have now and the overarching vision of limiting options and customisation...I fear we won't see any meaningful expansion of the character customisation options either. As an example....It has already been stated we won't get facial hair features for male characters....and while that doesn't exclude other options...it doesn't bode well.

Playing it all when it dtops.

New improved patrol areas and the new raid.

The new patrol mode looks fun

Gameplay New weapons and armour New challenges... Lots of stuff!

New content

I'm looking forward to 4v4 in all PvP game modes. Not so much because I like 4 man teams, but because it makes it easier for some players (like myself) to make the transition between game modes. My personal opinion is that the difference in playstyles between 6s and 3s had a negative impact on trials by reducing the number of players who were willing to play it.

I look fwd to new PVE content.
-
Old subclasses revamp
-
Grenade Launchers. Incoming trickshot compilations!

Playing with all the new guns is always fun. Starting another collection is always going to be something collectors look forward to. Going to all the new places is something fun for explorers. Beating the new raid is always fun for people who like to engage in "jolly co-operation" Testing themselves is always something that PvP'ers enjoy.
bam. There's 5. Now, bring the salt.
All the new shit

New environments, weapons, armor & not having to go to orbit all the freakin time... Soo much time wasted on loading screens.
