Here's a look at the new social space! What are your thoughts?
Keep in mind this is just an introduction, not everything will be revealed.

The Farm lol this is where Bungeivision is gonna be farming your wallets.
-
Didn't see anything particularly exciting or different to D1's Tower or Iron Temple tbh. Meh.
-
will this "Social Space" actually have in game mechanics or will all the things a social space normally used for going to be on a 3rd party site... again
-
Destiny 1.5 is gonna be a more disappointing game than: No mans sky Cod ghosts Infinite warfare Advanced ware fare Titanfall Division Superman 64 Turok on xbox360 Banjo kazooie - nuts and bolts Duke Nukem forever And so on. This game is just a cash grab and a company relying on their name sake to bring in money. Sad.
-
That's got to be the lamest thing they've revealed yet.
-
Let me guess. The forum hates the farm too?
-
My thoughts in 1 word
boring
-
Looks like shit, canceling pre order, and time taken off from work.
-
Ah man I can't wait for byf, moreconsole etc to make 400 videos about it.
-
I'm so sick of the negativity, I don't get what you f*fks expect.
-
you know you've hit rock bottom and all hell breaks loose when your home base is now on a farm.
-
It's football. Not -blam!-ing soccer lol

Well, that was underwhelming. I keep waiting for Destiny 2 to show me something that says it's a full blown sequel to Destiny and this reveal did not deliver. It feels to much like the Tower, or The Reef or The Iron Temple.
-
Soccer is going to sell them so many -blam!-ing emotes on eververse. You kids can have this game.
-
They're selling you a Destiny 1 expansion for $60 and call it Destiny 2. It looks pathetic. Made for heavily addicted Destiny players that are unable to stop playing this mediocre 6/10. They're milking yo ass and you're asking for more.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 7/6/2017 4:41:57 AMI noted a few things. 25 people can be in social spaces now. That implies a pretty good memory upgrade. They mentioned NPCs that will come and go. I hope that means event NPCs and maybe even quest triggered NPCs. He also said they're working on more ways to make the area entertaining and conducive to showing things off. Firing range? Supers testing?

Edited by serendipity127: 7/7/2017 6:53:23 AMI'm excited to explore it. And there's chickens! Ralph even has a twitter. https://twitter.com/RalphTheChicken?s=09

Did anyone else think while watching the IGN video that "The Farm" felt bland?
-
Edited by I-BIoodBorne: 7/6/2017 10:44:12 PMNobody notice how the graphics didnt improve one single bit? 3 years later and its the same engine with the same textures. Its really underwhealming 😑

Edited by U12070628: 7/6/2017 10:47:12 PMThe farm is my country. The traveler is my city.
-
Well...as much as I am underwhelmed by D2 so far...I quite liked the look of the farm. It didn't quite blow my mind...but it looked like I would enjoy it more than the tower. It needs a big tree though.
-
Who can get excited over social spaces? Every new one has been boring and pointless
-
Oh goodie. We can have multiplayer soccer/football (depending on where you live)...
-
CHICKENS!!!!!
-
Either D2 will in fact be pure shit, or Bungie has the dumbest marketing team in the universe. They have to know that people are literally cancelling preorders, and holding off to preorder just based on the shitty looking details they have released lately about D2. It is 2 months from release, what are you keeping secret? You don't have to hide the best parts of the game until after launch, like it's a spoiler. That's just in movies. They don't have to give the story away but they need to start creating some more hype by revealing some of these bullshit "extra things we have in the works" or "more things to come" they keep mentioning. Because right now all I saw was another example of the reef, or the iron temple, just a different paint job. Nothing special or new.
