"Come on Yang! They're beating us like drums.. they've already seized two relics and I've already been revived eight times. Maybe this was a bad idea..." Firebase Delphi. Located on Mars. Used by the crucible for matches. The two guardians, Electra and Yang, were both currently losing a doubles match on firebase Delphi. It was pretty much hopeless that they could win now. The two guardians had only been in the match for 5 minutes and the opposing team, alpha, had taken two salvage zones. "Hmm.. Electra? Do you think it's because the warlock is using that really good gun?" Yang questioned while pulling out a sniper the gunsmith had equipped her with in the tower. "No, I think it's because your a useless newbie without a class yet!" Electra smiled and joked while she fired a couple of pulse rifle shots in team alpha's direction. "Hey! Don't be so mean, I'll find out my class in my own time!" "Just saying, but you should really hurry up and find out." Hyper interjected into the conversation. "That I can agree with." Moren muttered. Yang sighed and then jumped up from behind a barrel. She crouched a bit and looked through her sniper rifle aimed near a salvage zone. "Wait.. where are team Alpha?" Electra asked. "They aren't even in range on my motion tracker.. I've got a bad feeling about this." Yang muttered while still looking through her sniper rifle. "Oh wait!" A glimpse of a warlock suddenly came into her sniper's range. Yang put her finger on the trigger. Surprisingly, this would be her first kill of being a guardian. She closed her eyes and sighed as she pulled the trigger. "Woah woah woah. Did ya hit him?" Electra asked. Yang looked up and saw a ghost in her distance. Electra glanced over too. "Oh my god you did hit him!" Electra got up from behind a crater and ran over to yang and gave her a hug. "You finally did it! Your first kill! Congratulations!!!" "Wait.. I'm not hallucinating? I actually.. hit him?!" "Yah! Yang, that was an awesome shot!" Hyper said. Yang smiled in return but then was alerted when she looked at her motion tracker. A sunbreaker titan threw a flaming hammer at Electra and she disintegrated. The sunbreaker then jumped down to face Yang and looked at her. "Did you just.. burn my friend?" Yang asked, agitated. The titan let out a small laugh. "Yeah. Whatcha gonna do about it?" Straight after he threw some more solar power at Yang, disintegrating her as well. The titan scoffed, then turned around to walk away. "Hmph.. running away?" The titan rolled his eyes and then turned back around. Yang had revived herself and was generating solar energy, like a sunsinger. She threw a powerful solar melee attack at the titan and watched as he disintegrated. "Guardian down!" Hyper shouted. Yang smirked and then ran over to Electra and revived her. "Wow Yang! You're a sunsinger!" Electra shouted. "A what singer?" "A sunsinger! Sun-singer. You're a warlock that uses solar energy. I'm so proud you finally discovered you class!" She let out a fake cry. "They grow up too soon!" Yang rolled her eyes and nudged her gently. "Shut up! Where can we go now?" Yang asked, curious about her subclass. "Back to the tower. You can talk to Ikora, the warlock vanguard." Moren said. "We can't come. Well, Electra can't. She promised she would go and spend some time with her boyfriend on patrol." "Boyfriend? What's the lucky guy called?" Hyper asked. "Oh he's called Macaulay, we only started dating a while ago though.." Electra giggled and blushed a bit. The name rang out like a bell in Yang's head. It sounded awfully familiar, but she despised it too. "Ok well we'll see you later then Electra?" Yang asked. "Sure! It's great having a new friend!" She smiled. • • Yang arrived back at the tower and waved bye to Electra when she went back to earth in her ship. "Ok Hyper so where now?" "Justtt this way!" Hyper flew off down to the hall of the guardians, where the vanguards were. Yang laughed and followed. Hyper carried on flying until she reached ikora but Yang stopped near Shaxx. She turned to her right and saw the titan from the crucible. He was talking to Shaxx about rewards from the crucible. She could tell it was him due to his arrogance and his blue and white armour, however, he wasn't wearing his helmet. "Oh.." he turned around and saw Yang. He looked her up and down. "What's your problem?" "Oh nothing.. just wanted to say that you were good in the crucible!" Yang laughed. He walked closer to her and she added back until she walked into a wall. "Don't.. make jokes like that. You're still a youngster. And you already highly annoy me." Yang laughed at him. "Come on! Cheer up, it's not like you're going to be able to stab me or something!" She walked off over to ikora. Stab her? That was a good idea.
