Random post is random. Enjoy something besides "D2 Sucks, D1 is Dead" content.
SOOO...Fun story, the first time I ever booted up my Vanilla Destiny disc, I chose a Titan. Seemed strong, simple, and too the point. Hulk smash. Right?
So I do the tutorial, get to the Tower, and not even an hour into the game, I question myself. I notice that there was a female player in the tower with larger breasts than mine. Surely I didn't miss the breast enhancement feature in the character creator?
I check them out, get my trophy; and notice they are a "Hunter". Huh. Hunters have larger breasts than Titans. Good to know.
However, not knowing how Destiny worked at the time; I immediately got rid of my Titan, and made a Hunter; which, to this day, is the only Character I have never deleted since Day 1 inception.
Don't get me wrong, I love the "Scout" type classes. I'm Scout and Sniper (Primary/Secondary) all day, every day. But between the metas, weaponry abandonment, and reflection; I've learned that my first pick, was actually the right pick.
1.) I enjoy rushing head-long into battle, with as much strength and force as I can to intimidate and break the spirit of my enemies.
2.) I love the feeling of crushing my foes with an unstoppable smash; while at the same time giving my allies the strongest protection they'll ever know.
3.) As cool as it sounds to be The Lone Wolf, I actually prefer groups. I love the supporting role, but I also love that at times I can toss it aside and literally crush my foes' fists in my own hands.
With Destiny 2 coming along, I've had to think long and hard.
Do I import my Hunter from Day 1, or do I make a brand new Guardian (Titan) and correct my oversight from the first game?
All of my achievements and Veteran Rewards will carry over regardless, as the exclusives are tied to your PSN/XBL instead of your actual Characters.
So what about you Forum? After all this time, has your "Main" changed. Did you make a mistake with your First Choice? Any regrets?
I'll see you in the comment section below.

My Hunter looks kinda like Luke Skywalker. Should have made an Exo.
-
It is the lone dragon, with nothing left to lose, that is the most ferocious
-
Warlock forever
-
For once Hunter doesn't win the class vote! #TITANMASTERRACE
-
Warlocks forever.

I will always be a hunter at heart But voidwalker just feels too good in this meta. -The consistency and versatility of its grenades are better than hunter IMO - although not as "clipworthy" as throwing knives, voidwalker melee is very consistent, and has great perk synergy for health regeneration - Hunters I feel have the best jump (being able to jump and shoot with ease) But I feel like once you've mastered the flowing movement of a warlock, making quick getaways in PvP feels really easy. - The super fits my personal play style. I get so focused on chaining gunfights and using cover and moving smartly that whenever I have my golden gun I never remember to use it, or I use it in a bad spot. I prefer having a 1 off, 1hko bomb that I can use last resort to win a fight I was about to lose and keep streaks alive. -also having a subclass in your back pocket that can self Rez

Us titans are the reason the walls were built, the reason the city still stands, and most importantly, the reason anyone was able to kill Oryx.
-
To me the loss of skating kills the titan class, my first choice was hunter and likely will be so for D2
-
I got a bubble for your troubles.

''Class'' Human = Race Awoken = Race Exo = Race When will you people learn?
-
The very first character I started on day one was a Titan, I then created a warlock and pretty much solely played that for year one. I also, because of the unique way levelling worked in year one, had a second warlock, so that I had multiple chances at raid drops. At the end of year one when they announced ttk and the subclass quests, and we saw how the new light levelling system worked. I understood it no longer made sense to have two warlocks, so i won't say I deleted one because that's not true, she merely transformed herself into a hunter. So all my characters have been round since year one, and my hunter, well she used to be a warlock and is better off for that experience. I play mainly hunter now, this is another account I started and it just has one hunter on it. I would recommend everyone starts with warlock and first masters it's jump, it then feels so liberating when you get on a Titan or a hunter and totally changes the way the game feels. I would say I'm glad I learnt to play destiny on a warlock as it allows for more mistakes, and as such I've learnt from them mistakes and no longer make them with any of my guardians.

I started off as a lock thought it would fit since my gt is this but actually I like hunters best.
Best answer I can give to the boob thing is that hunters armor is skin tight and titans armor is bulky and that female hunters would fit the role of seductress. It might be advantageous to them. But it might also be that the hunter personality type is smug and show off with a dash of sarcasm.
Coming from a heavy Halo-shooter, I picked Titan just because the armor reminded me greatly of Master Chief. Never deleted him since Day One. Gonna keep him forever. Now that Destiny 2 is around the corner with a fresh-start and all that, I've been itching to make a switch over to other classes (either Hunter or Warlock). I've played and tasted the powers of Hunters/Warlocks and I love them both. Thankfully, I'm going to carefully play really hard on all classes in Beta to help me decide which one will I be playing as main-character.
-
Is this some next-level trans-class stuff?
-
Why not both?
-
Started as hunter and I'll end as hunter day one biatches
-
My main has been a Titan since the open beta so I don't see that changing anytime soon lol
-
Same, started hunter, beat game, created titan, beat game, created warlock, played game, deleted warlock (can't jump!?), created 2nd titan. Sorry warlocks, no me gusta.
-
Fun fact, VoG armour ornament takes away your boobs on Hunter. Not a fan of big boobs myself. No boob envy here. Or big arses (Titan IB trousers are just so wrong).
-
Started as Warlock, eventually made 3 Warlocks, deleted 56 characters about 2/3rds have been Warlocks. I only play hunters and titans when I need to do quests(like AoT) or for grimoire.

Edited by Your Hate: 7/4/2017 4:37:30 AMYou sure love those semicolons (;) eh?
-
I like how titans are winning the poll, but in year 1-2ish you couldn't find a defender titan for a raid.
from: a titan since alpha
-
My main problem is that I like playing Warlock too much and I didn't give enough time to my Hunter and Titan.
-
Used to love being a Warlock but they nerfed the shit out of us and made us be the chick in every advertisement. Hunters got nerfed a little but not as bad as the Warlocks. Might as well go full Titan because you know Bungie won't nerf their bootleg Master Chief.
