Are Transversive Steps still in the game
I swear Xûr isn't going to sell them any time soon.
I haven't seen a boot engram drop from ToC in eons.
If Xûr does sell a boot engram, it's a legacy engram.
Nightfalls pretty much only reward crap legendaries now.
Pretty sure these are the most difficult exotic to acquire.

2 RepliesA month or so back, I had 4 boot engrams I had stashed away. Warlock opened them as I was excited for new boots. Mk 44 Mk 44 Mk 44 and... Mk 44! Dafuq Bungie?!? . Got another Exotic Boot engram last night on the warlock. Flew to the Tower, excited and convinced there was no way I'd get yet another set of Mk 44. Yup!!! [spoiler]I got the other Titan boots. [/spoiler]

1 ReplyI got Transversive Steps months ago from 3oC. Since then I have not gotten any when decrypting boot engrams. This discussion made me wonder if the engram or the armor is bugged. I have a lot of exotic engrams saved in the vault. So during the past two days I decrypted 5 boot engrams to see what would happen. None of them decrypted into Transversive Steps.

1 ReplyA clanmate didn't grab them when Xur sold them. He's been hunting for them ever since. Not a single boot engram decrypted into TV. They're probably bugged, at least in engrams.

They only dropped once for me. Once.

If I hadn't bought them from Xûr at the beginning of Rise of Iron, I wouldn't have them. Only ever seen them drop once for someone else in a raid. They have been on my Warlock forever pretty much. Best exotic in the game if you ask me and it doesn't mess with my look.

1 ReplyI grinded for ophydian aspect and transversive steps since ROI dropped. Got them in the same day last week. Boots from nightfall and gauntlets from an engram.

Chin up, man. I got my 3rd pair a couple weeks ago from a crucible 3oC. They've been working really well in tandem with my Tlaloc or Vex, as they seem to be always low on ammo.

The automatic reload perk is pretty useful but I don't really see the need to move faster while crouching. If you crouch and move around in the tower, the extra speed just makes your character look retarded.
