This game is dead because trials is dead. Trials is dead because of the sh!t you saw in this video.
- Sticky grenades
- Titans moving at the speed of Mach 1
Bungie take notes. Crucible is also dead.
And for all you people saying trials was a cancer to this game, trials RAN THIS GAME for three years and was the only reason it survived for so long.
Poor weapon balancing was is a cancer to this game and I'm still pissed that bungie would leave it in this state...
-
Trials did not keep this game alive. Trials helped poison Crucible with balance changes. PvE has always posted more numbers by a wide margin.
-
The sad thing is you think you're right.
-
I play PVE and I'll be playing this dead game for years to come.
-
trials RAN THIS GAME for three years and was the only reason it survived for so long.
I don't even remember Trials as even existing when I started playing.....that's weird.....(waits for a TrialHard to look up PvP stats) PvP may run this forum, but it never ran Destiny.
-
1. I hope you aren't showing the video to make a point about Trials, but about Crucible in general. That was Mayhem, not Trials. 2. It did not run this game for three years. It ran it off and on between PvE updates. 3. It is not the only reason Destiny has been alive this long. 4. I wasn't the one crying for nerfs. I'm not the reason Thorn has been complete ass since the April Update 2015. I'm not the reason people gravitated toward the easiest shit to use. Trials is a cancer because that's where all the shit got highlighted. That's the reason special was dumbed down. Crucible is dead because the nerfherders kept their call strong. There's a reason people like Th3Jez call Icebreaker, Trials: The Gun. Also, play other games. Those exist. If you hate the state of Destiny right now, play a different game. Nobody is stopping you. I enjoy playing Destiny, but I won't let it restrict me from playing another game.
-
yeah, a game mode that didnt exist until the second expansion totally ran the game for it's entire life span.
-
Or maybe because this game is 3 years old and we received the last content update until the release of the sequel? But sure let's say trials killed the game even though a small percentage of players even play trials
-
-
Trials made PvP cry babies like you scream for nerfs. You made PvP crap.
-
Because it ran out of content 3 years ago ? Only thing that kept me playing, is trials... but I'm bored of it after playing a stupid amount of hours. An occasional raid with a good team is fun
-
What does trials need then? What is it missing? A referee. Seriously, that's it. Imo, that is all the crucible ever needed. This thing with special ammo now, I don't have a problem with it. If I want to roll with a sniper, I just stay alive...I have to earn my ammo. I like it.
-
The game is alive and kicking. I do raids with different groups all week long.

Lol. It's like none of these people who make these posts have ever heard of destiny tracker. Daily pve numbers are consistently higher than pvp numbers and have been for quite awhile now. Even during the iron banner events.
-
Trails did not run destiny at all. If I were to guess what ran destiny, it would be raids, xur (ultimately), weekly resets, and really just getting to the highest light and getting a lot of good exotics. Trials might give you some high light things and exotics, but there's no way it ran the whole damn game. Maybe in your pessimistic world it did. And by the way, trails has not been here for three years.
-
>500k players yesterday >dead I play a game that peaks at 30k. Destiny is fine.
-
Trials didnt run shit. As a matter of fact if u watched the daily numbers u wouldve seen that it was PVE that kept this game going.

Thank the nerfherders that brought us to this point, and bungie for listening to the point of -blam!-ing D2.
