Solo Black Spindle NO GUNS (Completely Abilities Only)

Clearing the Black Spindle side-quest in the Lost to Light mission with Grenades, Melee and Supers only :)

The video is pretty much as you see; a full clear using nothing but abilities and beating the timer! Well, just barely...
I show the build at the end of the video, but the main things you need for this are: Increased Super on Grenade Kill Helmet. Glove perk for Bonus Grenade Damage on Melee Hits. The rest is fairly trivial; Max Armor + Recovery focused build, Nothing Manacles + Scatter Grenade Build w/ Shatter, The Hunger and Embrace the Void.
The path I chose is fairly optimized for this, I don't think there's too much room for change but there's probably a few adjustments that could be made. Surprisingly this ended up being a pretty decent challenge! Took me around 15 or so attempts (I had one much earlier where the boss was a melee away from dead and killed myself with a bad Grenade lol).
There's no bonus modifiers in this run as well which you can see at the start (I don't know if Lost to Light/Black Spindle appears in the new mission playlist, but just in the event it does this run was not in there).

High discipline Voidlock is the only other class/subclass I prefer to my Hunter main. Only reason I don't main Lock is because I HAD to give up trying to get Ophidian Aspects. Kept getting Hunter gloves.. props dude. Badass.

Hahah this is truly one of the only solo videos that impresses me. Butthole puckered up at the end with about a minute left when you missed that grenade and it hit the box right in front of you thought you were gonna kill urself. Nice job
