If he’s forced to socialize he’ll usually keep to the table in the darkest corner in the back of the room, where he won’t be bothered. While he does have a handful of friends and is more personable than he leads people to believe, he prefers to give off the impression that he’d rather be left alone. And although he pretends to not want to have anything to do with the people around him, he does enjoy company and finds assurance in the companionship of a few people he can’t really live without. Before the Collapse Os was a promising Physicist of the Ishtar Academy who could pick up a subject and learn it in its entirety overnight, but he was killed in the initial first wave that hit Earth while he was there on holiday and awoke to a dead world confused and intrigued. Unlike most Guardians, Os wasn’t afraid when his ghost resurrected him- he was calm, composed, accepting of the circumstances and ready to do whatever he was brought back for. It took him nearly a year to make it to the Tower, during which time he came across a newly resurrected Titan named Titus, who he would come to know as the biggest pain in his ass he has ever known. Brute, brash, loud-mouthed, and everything he despised, the two fought their way across the European Dead Zone, against enemies, but more frequently against each other. The two butted heads for months after their meeting, until one night after a particularly bad day of fighting for their lives. That night, Osrain learned a lot about his traveling companion, and his heart softened toward the lonely, terrified man upon realizing that his behavior was a coverup for underlying insecurities and fears. Titus had hidden who he was for most of his life and, for the first time that he could remember, trusted someone enough to let down his guard and see him for who he was, and their relationship changed for the better. And although they do still argue and fight a lot, it stems more from their fondness for each other than disdain. When he finally made it to the Tower, Ikora turned him over into the care of Lazarus and Viper, who had inherited the responsibility of looking after Rue’s library in her death. While he spends much of his time with the two Warlocks continuing his studies and adding to the knowledge of her Archives (even forgoing sleep most nights), he and Titus were assigned to Jynn as her new Guardian apprentices and he spends most of his days patrolling with her, or training with the other Warlocks of Daybreak’s library.
