Is D2 for you? Luke will tell you.

Now just here me out on this. If you really want to know if D2 is for you just listen to Luke Smith. I know I know he's managed to anger three quarters of the community. But there is a silver lining in his off hand careless not thought out comments. In reality he's telling the truth. Does the truth hurt yes but listening to him you know what to expect. Everyone else is dancing around issues such as servers, character development (exo stranger) PvP changes and such. But in his I don't care about the fans attitude he's actually letting the truth slip out. So I guess instead of smoke a mirrors were hearing exactly how D2 will be from him and his attitude is like it or lump it. Edit: I know that sounds salty. Some of the information he gave out is a little disappointing. That being said I've enjoyed Destiny even with all it's faults and I'm sure D2 will be fun also. No game is perfect let's just hope they keep making improvements.

 • The problem with Luke Smith, from a PR persepective, is that his comments come off as anti-player. Notice how DeeJ is always saying things like "we nerfed this gun to shit because we respect the players". At least DeeJ is trying. Luke Smith tells us that all of the changes are in response to player behavior and this leads to the understandable conclusion that the D2 will be less fun for players than D1. There is precedent for this! More than a few of my PS4 friends ditched Destiny after The Taken King and it's derogation of Ice Breaker and Gjallarhorn, the unforgiving nature of King's Fall, and the insanely difficult exotic quests. So Luke Smith, instead of telling us how Bungie removed Sunsinger revives because players liked the 1-up, instead tell us how the replacement subclass, Dawnblade, is more fun to play. It is more fun to play, right?
