I don't give a crap if he was slightly farther out than the game would've liked. The guy was literally about 15m away from me, my crosshairs were right on his face, and out of the 5 shots I fired, only 2 hit him. You have got to be ****ing kidding me!
This better not still be a thing in D2!

I am assuming you are using a handcannon. If so, you need to let the reticle reset back to the default state (i.e. where you originally aimed) or else it will appear to fire "ghost bullets", but in reality you are just missing. Do yourself a favor, go into a private match and line up in front of a wall with your gun. Pull the trigger as though you were in a firefight: if you notice every shot above the one before it, then guess what? You are firing too fast and are not giving the gun time between shots to realign. It is not ghost bullets.
