No. you are not done nor are you anywhere near being done with her. You got a great opportunity to make up whatever the crap you want. We need answers. You didn't wrap her up effectively you hardly opened her story. You are not done with her
-
She doesn't have time to make an appearance.
-
The Exo Stranger is the perfect example of a complete throwaway that the community assigns way too much importance to. Her singular purpose in existing was to point us in the direction of the Vex. She accomplished that. She was a plot device and nothing more. She does not need a story beyond what she has. She has enough motivation to have done what she did (with her connections to the FWC as well as possibly being an original member of the Ishtar Collective upon which the FWC is based). She fills isles her purpose and had adequate motivation to fulfill said purpose. She does not need to appear in any greater capacity than she already has (unless Bungie really wants her to) and still allow Destiny to be a complete story.

I could see Bungie bringing back the Stranger storyline somewhere down the line, either in an expansion or possibly the next sequel, and then people will complain, "WTF Bungie! You said her story was over, you lied again!"
-
you hardly opened her... You are not done with her
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

played that first encounter other day, she says 'your interesting, not very interesting though' or similar.... also i thought i glimpsed some story when she said 'i'm not born from light' just after saying the vex are so evil they even despise other evils, then crushes one with her foot... so much in just that aspect alone to create interesting backstory, never mind the true one that prob got the chop.. still now pvp instead of rpg in space is driving who cares :(

Did you make this same post when Bungie LEFT THE STRANGER OUT OF 4 EXPANSIONS OVER THE COURSE OF 3 YEARS, or are you just jumping on the newest reason to be mad over a video game?
-
They don't have time to explain why they don't have time to explain why the Stranger didn't have time to explain why they didn't have time to explain.
Is there a world in which we never find out who the Exo Stranger was talking to on the phone? Yeah, I mean, there’s a world where you never find out anything else about the Exo Stranger, and there’s a world where the Exo Stranger is the star of— Destiny 3? [Laughs] Yeah, there’s a world where the Exo Stranger has a cartoon or a comic book series or whatever. With Destiny, we have so many cool opportunities to tell stories in and out of the game. And we have a bunch of characters who are interesting, but the Exo Stranger is one that always makes me chuckle a little bit. Because I feel that’s one character where we actually wrapped up the arc. She gave you a sweet gun and then dissolved, presumably off to do something else. So I feel like, of all of our characters we’ve introduced and exited, we actually exited her effectively. But she always comes up. She always comes up, so there’s obviously something to that character that piques people’s curiosity.
- PC Gamer In case you are just reacting to what you tubers have said, I've included the quote to what was ACTUALLY said in the interview. He doesn't say we WONT see the stranger again, he suggests there's a possibility we won't and that there's a possibility she gets her own comic book, which given the in game story generally focuses on the present might make a lot of sense since the most interesting parts of the strangers story are in her past, who she is and her ties to the War Cult. If she were to appear in the in-game story again it would be whenever we get an expansion or sequel focused on the Vex, and while they could have a cool throwaway scene where we find out she teleported to where we were in the future, there's really no great way to answer the more interesting questions about her in a cutscene, and we could get both if she got a comic book and returned when we face the Vex, all Luke's comments confirm is that they aren't committing to paying that story thread off right now.

yes they are
-
She has no reson to be in destiny 2. She is connected to the vex storyline not the cabal. No is really no reson to doubt that at some point the character will return. Eveyone can chill out just a bit.

Edited by Yoder023: 6/21/2017 1:43:10 PMYes they are.... Unless she's Taken
-
The Exo Stranger didn't have a story. How can Bungo be done with her?
-
Maybe she'll come back in Destiny 3 or onwards?
-
Maybe a last dead ghost will tell her story?
-
Edited by Banana: 6/20/2017 11:32:06 PMI love Destiny and PvE and all but I super duper don't care about the stranger.
-
Nah she's boring.
-
Unfortunately, the Stranger morphed into Kathy Griffin.
-
Is there not a Osiris dlc coming for destiny 2? Bungie could use that to explore the stranger because it is connected to Osiris and he is connected to vex.
-
It probably has to do with the fact that the actress that plays her is too expensive AND that given the fact union actors are on strike against the video game industry, she's unable to renegotiate her contract. Most contracts aren't binding for that long. BUT they could always recast her. They did it with Dinklebot...
RIP Dinklebot
-
Leave it alone. It's done.
-
From my understanding they more or less wrapped her story and decided to just leave her mostly a mystery. She a time/dimension exo and in her reality the heart of darkness using the Sol Progeny manifested the VoG's abilities into the universe. Allowing the vex to dictate the existence and nature of the universe to their desire. Her mission was to ensure that this did not happen in our universe and we succeeded.
-
It would be nice to have at least some acknowledgement of her existence in the sequel. Anything like a figure in the distance on a certain mission or even an NPCs talking about seeing a mysterious exo
-
Yep, they are. Lol
-
Who's "the exo stranger"?
-
