Thoughts on Inverted Spire

So I finally had a chance to both play and watch the video above. Here's my feedback on it after both of those perspectives: Arcadian Valley- The Cabal awoke something deep beneath Nessus' surface. Cool flight animations now rearing towards the planet surface, but I honestly wish we we're loading up with our ships directly and with a possible option to grab pre-defined ammo sets for our weapons. We're supposedly (according to the strike description) going into something completely blind. I want a good chunk of starting ammo and that would definitely be on my ship. First initial combat scene features a few enemies fighting one another. Why has it always been that Cabal, military oriented, do not cover their flanks or keep eyes on movement? They've left themselves exposed now for two games. The Vex weaponry, especially that laser are welcomed additions. Kind of reminds me of the focus rifle from Reach. Liked the waterfall, though I would like to explore areas like that. See why the vex even need it for example? Next up is the cabal snipers and vex barrier part. Definitely like the barrier fights I see, but I'm more curious about the cabal shield strength. That in particular seemed really high, but that was just me. You expect us to have coordinated weaponry to bring shields down or the cost is a clip of high impact auto rifle fire? I dunno about that. The digsite was next. Love the shield tactics, like the enemy reinforcement waves. This will be a fun part no matter what when I get the chance to roll through the enemies. The transit system fight was appropriate, but I also see a missed opportunity with it. The fact guardians have gotten so far without a strong, overwhelming potentially, event is disturbing. The Cabal CURRENT Grimoire says they acknowledge the loss to guardians, but continue to do the exact same tactics against us. Make some changes to that. We should be seeing equivalent and better enemies at this point since they have seen us and lost contact with a lot of their troops. They would know something was up. So now it's past the relay station. Simple enough encounter with a more heavily outfitted cabal unit. I'm also looking at this going, "they are still going through this strike." and am impressed. Hopefully Bungie can get more strikes this long into it because being able to wipe enemies this much actually shows the progress and can offer greater insight into the game lore, mechanics, and creativity. Into the digsite and am definitely digging all the commotion going on. I'll enjoy playing around with that area honestly. That and the ghost being a teeny bit afraid was a nice touch. First part of the modular mind. So this is what the vex are capable of when they really want to protect something. Second part. Good overall gunplay. I am definitely maining another titan with this strike in mind. It's definitely going to be more useful then a warlock or hunter by comparison to me. Third part. Nice graphics, good teamwork, and a circular arena makes camping possible, but not really smart. I am going to enjoy this game a lot if this strike reflects the detail they will put into raids, ect..
