Will character data (not gear) transfer to Destiny 2 across platforms?
I.E. If I've been playing on Xbox or PS and I want to swap to PC for D2, will my character appearance, data, and any other potential recognition of my progress be granted if I swap?
Curious for a friend more for myself. But it's a good question

We know that Destiny 2 will come out on PC for Battle.net. We also know that when they announced this on the forum it went through how to link all your accounts, PS and Xbox. All they really need is a quick retrieval of data, i.e. character appearance and if you deserve any rewards. They are also releasing the PC version much later than the consoles so it seams their trying to get the PC version right, to make it not seem like a port, at least not a big one, or they have struck a deal with Microsoft and/or Sony.
