Back in Vanilla Destiny it was possible to choose a difficulty well above whatever level your character might be currently at...why cant we do that again? And why was this choice removed from the game when the Taken King was released? By this I mean that even if, say, you had the highest possible level for your character, you could still set the difficulty higher. Right now in order to set the difficulty higher I have to actually remove gear. For example, hard mode for a story mission is, say, 320 light, and I am capable of 333 on my character. I cant raise the difficulty unless I put on old year 1 gear. So I lower my light level to 290--- now the difficulty reads "very hard." I should not have to remove gear to do this! Feel free to take my poll, maybe a whole lot of people know what I'm talking about. Think Legendary difficulty in a Halo game.
