What autos and pulse weapons have the best stability? Tired of the first round hitting the target and hitting the ceiling with the rest
-
Edited by GamerCone: 6/8/2017 5:15:53 PMIt's the perks that matter. You're looking for a pulse rifle or auto with Counterbalance. Preferably counterbalance And perfect balance, or counterbalance and smallbore or braced frame. Some combo like that will keep your grouping much tighter.

Pulse Hopscotch and Nirwens On Titan Auto Extremophile (Warlock)

SUROS regime

Vision of confluence for sure

Edited by Ung Jaym: 6/5/2017 5:37:42 AMit's called being able to aim at your targets... the Suros Regime probably has one of the best stabilities for auto rifles and is usable when you can hit headshots and use the Spin It Up perk Although, the Doctrine of Passing is probably the best auto rifle right now and it melts people if you can land those crucial headshots the Hopscotch Pilgrim and Parthian Shot are two pulses that have really high stability. Although, you should use them at medium range the Parthian Shot can land a two burst kill if you can, yet again, land those headshotd

Hardlight

Edited by G0lden Hunt3r: 6/8/2017 3:51:27 PMObviously the suros ARI 41 for auto's. And for pulses, the aegis of the reef. Both have the best BASE stability even without stability perks.

Edited by S_A_M_A_D_: 6/8/2017 3:24:04 PMDoctrine and Monte Carlo
-
The Continental or Extremophile B29-Party Favor or PDX-45
-
Edited by Lacuna: 6/5/2017 3:57:15 PMYou need counterbalance and/or Braced Frame for legendaries. As for exotics, Monte Carlo and Suros Regime are good autos, while Outbreak Prime, No Time to Explain, and Red Death are pretty stable pulses.
-
Buy a PDX-45 package from the Gunsmith, and then wait. And then keep waiting. Then wait some more. Eventually he'll have a great roll again!
-
Mid rof ARs. Zarinaea-d and the like with braced and/or counterbalance. Dead orbits extremophile or the vanguard Continental are good choices. Hawksaw type pulses, and the y3 vanguard high impact pulse. Best bet would be one of the weapon Smith suros pulse rifles or the b-29 party favor with counterbalance.
-
I have an extremophile with hidden hand, perfect balance and high cal rounds. Very easy to keep rounds on target, I have scout rifles with worse stability.

Jade rabbit
-
Haakon's Hachet has nice stability. Hawksaw also has good stability.
-
Hawksaw is good with the stability, Blind Perdition comes in at a nice 2nd. ~TheGreatNike
-
Hawksaw is pretty good the one on my warlock is pretty steady. As far as autos go Extremeophile is good. Unbenttree is pretty good too, the one on my Titan is the most stable dropped AR I've picked up but the range isn't "great".
-
Zarinaea D is a solid AR
-
Monte Carlo is really stable. Clever Dragon can roll with good stability. So can Hopscotch Pilgrim. Just pay attention to the perks and what they do for your stability.
-
The ones that have a high stability perk... just look at the stability bar and you will know. There's plenty of autos/pulses that can roll with super high stability as well as crappy stability. However, the Vanguard auto (Continental) can almost max out with braced frame and Steadyhand IS

Edited by Seamus Awl: 6/4/2017 10:45:07 PMMy Aegis of the Reef (on my hunter) has max Stability. After that i would say Blind Perdition (on my titan) ranks 2nd for stability. They are both in the Same archtype as Hawksaw (on my warlock) so they are in the best archtype too. I equipped them so you can take a look at them and compare if you want to. Aegis - 100 stability BP - 99 stability The difference is negligible
-
The Suros on my hunter is so fun and can't find a AR I like better!

Let's evaluate what you have, shall we? List all the Pulse Rifles and Auto Rifles you've got in your possession, as well as the rolls they have on them. If you're looking for options you can purchase, however, I recommend subscribing to HOUNDISH's channel on Youtube. At every weekly reset he puts up a video listing weapons with notable perks, as well as pieces of armor with high stats.

Monte Carlo
-
For High RoF Autos, Dead Orbit's Extremophile comes around with some nice stability perks. Doctrine of Passing is a laser beam with the right roll.
-
High impact -- Suros Regime is decent, Shadow Price is pretty good, but overall this archetype doesn't usually have great base stability. Medium impact -- Continental or Extremophile. Low-impact -- Doctrine of Passing.
