[b]Happy yet annoyed
The other week I got a card through the door about a parcel at the post office that had custom charges/unpaid postage to be paid before the item would be released to me, I thought it was something I had ordered from Ebay and wasn't fussed about paying the £11.90 they were asking for it so left it until today to collect when it dawned on me that it could be my T-shirt from Bungie.
Were you aware of this charge Bungie?
I suggest you make it clear to folks that an additional charge may be applied to the tight fisted miserly lot at the customs and excise of the EU!!
Or other countries mail services that charge £8.00 for 'Royal Mail International Handling Fee' and £3.90 for VAT
I am still not sure whether to be pissed at Bungie or HRMC after paying out £$38.66 for the privilege of owning probably the only Destiny/Bungie related merchandise I will be purchasing!!

Um, that's how customs work, they may inspect the item and they may decide to charge you, that's not Bungies fault

FYI...
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS Your shipping total only covers the costs associated with getting your package delivered to you. Beyond that, some countries impose an extra duty on incoming purchases as they cross the border. If you’re unsure about whether or not your country has such a duty, you may wish to confirm your country’s import policy before purchasing, as they vary from country to country.
https://bungiestore.com/pages/shipping
