Ran Crota a number of times with a good destiny buddy in Year 2. Finally went back 4 months ago and banged it out in one night. Was SO glad to get that achievement.

Got flawless on Crota during House of Wolves. Our fireteam was just my friend and I, and I think it went smoother than if it were with a full team of six. Did it again shortly after with a third friend of ours.

Abyss-cheese, bridge-cheese, shootyshoo the rest.[spoiler]soloed the 1st two cheeses as a lvl31 back then, never soloed the whole thing, gave it some effort later, kept dying at crota, was so close, damn boomers [/spoiler]

got mine 2 manning Crota, could easily do all 4 raids on 390 if i had 6 me's. lol

I remember doing it when it was only 0.2% (1 in 500 players) we just 3 manned crota. took maybe a day or two to formulate the safest strategy and execute it. before then, I had thrown a few solo attempts at it but never quite made it.
