They said they did something to try and fix how half of everyone was never able to complete a raid, and my biggest issue is how they might implement it. Will they make it like normal matchmaking? I'm like 95% sure that it will be awful; there will be people super skilled and arrogant who will leave if you don't have the right gear, light level, wipe once, etc., there will be people you're paired with who don't speak your language, don't have a microphone, and with whom almost nothing can be accomplished, and than that last tiny, tiny fraction of people who you can play with and succeed and enjoy succeeding with. Hopefully their idea won't end up being this. Also, I've realized that I'll only ever have time to play Destiny during my university's Summer and Christmas breaks, which means I miss any short-term events like Iron Banner, Crimson Days, Festival of the Lost, the start of every single new Raid, etc. I don't know how much of a life outside of work the average engineer has, but I'm dreading that I'll have almost zero free time from once I get a job to the day I retire or die. This greatly discourages me from even wanting to play at all sometimes. By the time I have free time, the next expansion will be released, or the next Destiny game will be out, or no one will want to do the old Raid because everyone had people and time to play it with months ago. I want to buy Destiny 2, but I'm not sure if I should or if I shouldn't and just keep missing out like I always will. Now, if they allowed us to dismantle stuff while we're in the menu of whatever new vaults we get, that might change my mind. And will we Xbox players ever get that Echo Chamber strike and grimoire and all that other PS-exclusive stuff and grimoire that we have to always wait a year for?
