In relation to today's gameplay reveal stream there was something that I noticed was missing... We know the vex have mechanised a planet and most likely that will act as our fighting ground for the vex, and the cabal are likely to be the primary enemies for the game. But where are the Fallen and Hive? Now I would like to state before anything else, this was the first we have seen of destiny 2's gameplay and so its very likely bungie are saving new enemy types for a future event (probably e3) so we can't expect to see everything right away. The Hive can be expected to be a returning enemy type as during the stream we see the classic tunnels which we have grown to relate to the Hive. We haven't seen any character models yet, but if the visuals of the enemies are anything to go by, I expect them to look as scary as ever. The fallen are the bigger problem here. To my knowledge, there was no mention or sight of them in the stream. Now, this may be to do with the story and so they are trying to hold it back from us. Or maybe bungie simply wishes to move on from them as a member of the darkness. What do you think? This is just the start of what we can expect from destiny and I personally cannot wait to see what's in store for e3. Whether new enemies are introduced or we see the return of old. One thing's for sure, this game is shaping up to be huge, and we can rest assured knowing bungie are working hard giving us things to shoot!
