Reveal- "Destiny has the greatest community that really supports each other. "
Looking at comments on the official forums- I think they're talking about a different community.
Nothing but cynicism.
I enjoyed what I saw. Looking forward to the new supers and subclasses not yet revealed.
4 vs 4 Crucible kind of sucks, but I didn't play it a lot anyway, so it wouldn't really matter to me. I'll probably just end up avoiding it for the most part unless I'm forced into it.
The world exploring looks like it'll be fun. With my schedule it can be hard to play with others at times, so it'll give me something to do besides grinding hard mode strikes over and over.
And I like how he said "Three stage boss fight" for the strike. Sounds like it won't just be a giant bullet sponge.

The community they were talking about is definitely not the forum one. The forums are full of people that just want to hate Destiny. Places like twitch chat are where the community thrives.

Most definitely not #Competitive My goodness the toxicity there is off the charts

Let's not forget the guy who is spamming the forums with "D2 stole Warframe's sword"

I really wish I knew where this great community was. I'd go there and never come back here, so I could manage to stay excited about what looked like a pretty awesome sequel. Kind of feels like most players were just glad to have something to hate. Kind of feels like people don't know how to be excited, have fun, enjoy getting to do a new thing together. I mean, I've read people calling it a 'reskin' like there wasn't enough new but... they would be the same people saying 'it is nothing like D1 we lose everything wtf bungie'. Maybe some Blizz players will come in and silence the irritating, whiny, toxic, cynical bullshit that dominates the community now. I hope.

I very rarely post in these forums due to the immaturity and toxicity that goes on here. I don't think I've ever seen a civilized conversation take place on this forum and its sad. With that said, I'm very much looking forward to Destiny 2 and I've already preordered the Digital Deluxe addition.

Hopefully if I just limit it to who I run into in game, it'll be a better experience. Also, I'm preordering next month. People keep saying 'well they'll just screw us over again...' but they're kind of not thinking straight. YES we got burned at D1 launch. No doubt about it, the shit they released was unlike the advertisement to a criminal degree. There is no excuse, it sucked. BUT. What happened to all of the 'well it sort of got to where it should have been by year 3' comments? If the first attempt got close by the end of its run, WHY would D2 not start on its shoulders? D1's disappointment really sucked, but... they would have to intentionally go out of their way to do that again. It wouldn't make sense. I honestly think D2 is going to be one of the better games of the decade, at least where prolonged enjoyment and fun with friends go. No, it won't change your life. But if they can deliver a raid (or, GASP, more than one) which builds on how Vault of Glass felt? I don't feel like I'll have regrets. TL:DR, Destiny is fun, preordering is stupid but I'm going to do it anyway because a lot of fun things are stupid. See you in game man :D

People have, it's just you need to know where to look, and who to ignore, lol

Might as well bring some camping supplies if you're gonna do that.
