I know that not every nationalist necessarily rejects these examples of segregation, but here's what I see a great deal of the time. Nationalist: It's a mistake to stop enforcing our borders. We make our citizens unsafe, and evidence suggests that non-integrated communities have members that are less-trusting of one another. Progressive: You're arguing from a position of bigotry. Most of our violence comes from native-born citizens anyways. It's only a tiny minority of immigrants that commit atrocities. You have no reason to feel unsafe. Also Progressive: These students are entitled to their own events so that they can feel safe among people of their own kind.
