If so would you consider yourself honourable?
if your wondering what I mean by honourable, do you help 4v1 someone, do you emote before you start a 1v1, do you face your 1v1 opponent and not run away, just some things I think show that u r honourable
I see Brawl as a gamemode made for ganking. If you manage to best your opponent before your opponenets teammate, you earned your right to 2v1 your teammates opponent. It's a fun challenge that way.

I play to win. I mostly play brawl matches. In an ideal round, I quickly throw my opponent off the map, then quickly help my teammate finish off his opponent. If I'm clearly outmatched by the guy squaring off with me, I'll do one of two things: 1. Hold him off long enough for my teammate to kill his opponent and help me double team 2. Rush over to my teammate and quickly 2v1 that opponent I get lots of hatemail 😁

Edited by SharkHorse: 5/15/2017 3:02:46 PMEven the orders in-game recognize honorable kills as 1v1s. I don't care if someone is dishonorable, I'll return the favor. I'll always try to honor the 1v1 though. I didn't gank in any of the souls games, so I try not to gank in this game

Edited by Servanious: 5/11/2017 5:51:01 PMI abide by a code. If the enemy team is fighting honorably, then I will fight them honorably. If they fight dishonorably, then I will fight them dishonorably. Even then, I still usually try to avoid ganking and interrupting a 1v1/ stealing my teammates kill.
Warden knight is best knight.
Be dishonourable when faced with dishonour, or if you're facing an AI opponent.
-
I tried going the honorable route, but then I learned that everyone that plays For Honor is retarded and doesn't know what teamwork, evening out the odds or common sense is. Yes, it's not too much to ask for help in a 1v4 and no, standing on a control point to get two extra points while they have a 300 point lead is not helping in anyway.
-
I've always tried to be as honorable as possible. If I ever mistakingly push someone off, the next round they have permission to throw me into spikes or off a cliff. Out of the six or so times I've had to do this four of those times the people didn't even push me off. They wanted to fight me again instead.
-
Both. Depends on the either person and how they react. Lawbringers rejoice! If you're a Warden, PK, or Valk, you will have the Law fully enforced and given zero chance to fight back. Turtle Warlords and Wardens are given the verdict of cliff jumping. If you are Nobushi, humiliation and impaled for being a prick character. Shogoki...I'll try to meme with you, but if not then I'm making you burn some calories with this fight. Parry after parry. Orochi...roaches. Lawbringers and Conq, no blood shed shall be had unless it is absolutely necessary. DEUS VULT!!

I played the honor "no ledge and no gank playstyle since launch" but recently ledge every chance i get if people still put themselves in such situations.

This "honorable" shit people like to say is dumb. If I throw you off a cliff, it's your fault not mine. If I 2v1 you in Brawl, blame your teammate for not being able to beat one of us. I'm not gonna sit there and let you have a 1v1 most of the time.
-
I once fought a conquerer in a brawl match as lawbringer, we were so equally matched both our teammates quit out of boredom watching how long the fight went on for.
it went on for a couple minutes
I fight to win. 4v1, cliff pushing, bleeding you then leaving you to die (I main nobushi), breaking away at the begining of an elimination to help a teammate... no tactic is off the table. That being said, if you emote before a fight, I'll emote back and I never, under any circumstance, jack-off after a kill or victory. I might not have "honor", but that doesn't mean I can't be civil.
-
Im a rep 11 lawbro, but as of late i cant get in any good games. Normally me and a few others just end up dancing for the entire game. It's awesome, but i don't fight nearly as much anymore. Still, incredible game imo, even with it's flaws!
-
This whole 'honor' shit is pretty dumb, IMO. 1) It's a game. 2) Play to win, and have fun. 3) You think a real -blam!-ing knight or some shit wouldn't throw their opponent right off the ledge so they don't die?

Edited by xI Scion Ix: 5/12/2017 2:22:26 PMI did for about 2 weeks and then simply stopped. I think I had over 15 days of double xp left that I never got around to using. Maybe I'll mess around with it again when they release the 2 new characters. Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer

4v4 = anything goes 2v2 = no double teaming 1v1 = no ledge throwing All modes = don't be a dick
-
Don't play at all?
-
We play the game to win
If you don't want 2v1(or worse) play nothing but duels.
-
I used to play but I got fed up of all the hate mail for pushing players into 1V2s when they wanted to 1V1 me.
-
"Fair is how you fight when your life isn't at-risk"
-
You can have your false sense of "honor" that helps you sleep at night and I'll have my victory screen at the end of the match
-
No I play for fun.
-
4v1 is anything but honorable.

Relevant.

How is using an emote before a 1v1 dishonorable? People even do this is in Dark Souls.
