A few ways statists piss me off...
"Your free market will lead to monopolies, and monopolies are bad. Also, we need monopolies on important things like education and healthcare."
"It's wrong to rob people, unless lots of people get together and outsource their robbery to another person."
"It's unreasonable to expect people to be able to look after the things that government typically provides, like security and roads. They can't handle that responsibility, but it's totally reasonable to expect people to abide by thousands upon thousands of pages of legislation passed by a legislative body each year."
"We need government because there are evil people in the world. Never mind that governments regularly commit evil acts orchestrated by evil people."
*abuses social contract theory
"Social contract. It's justified to rob somebody if you provide something in return, even if they didn't want it."
"Taxation is the price we pay to live in a civilized society that bombs wedding ceremonies, spies on innocent people, and regularly cages people guilty of smoking and inhaling a plant."
"The war on drugs has been a complete failure, but banning or restricting certain firearms will stop their production and distribution!"
"We can't expect the state to beat the black market's ability to move illegal substances, but restricting the flow of people from one nation to the next will finally stop illegal immigrants from entering the black market and fulfilling the demand for cheap labor!"
"A woman gets to decide what she does with her body! BAN CIGARETTES, TRANS FAT, AND SUGARY DRINKS!"
"It's silly for Christians to validate their marriage in the eyes of god. MARRIAGE MUST BE VALIDATED BY THE STATE!"
"I'm not religious."
"I pledge allegiance to the flag..."
I've seen all of this and more, statists. It gets tiring.
Taxation is theft.
Equality is socialist propaganda.
Get triggered.
