Nope Dead Space 1 is the only game even worth mentioning in that franchise. Although 2 was fun it was a shooter pretending to be a horror survival game, and 3 was just a microtransaction filled shit show of a co-op shooter not even pretending to be a horror game anymore. If they were to make Dead Space 4 it'd just be another outlast rip off, because that's what's popular now. Nope just let it stay dead. That way Dead Space 1 can be remembered as one of the best horror survival games ever made and the franchise can be remembered as one of the single most disappointing franchises ever. At least IMO.

Atmosphere of one, gameplay of two and drop in/ out coop of 3. GOTY!
-
I'd like that but if not I wouldn't mind remastering them all into a collection.
Maybe with the second one's multiplayer to come back too?
-
If they do I hope it's goes back closer to how the first game was. Maybe something the plays kinda in between 1 and 2
-
What should happen is irrelevant. It ain't happening. All EA cares about now is Star Wars and sports games.
-
No. It should just die. By 2 you could see the executive involvement in an effort to create more sales(microtransactions, comp. multiplayer, more emphasis on action). And by 3 EA completely canned their original vision and made it a full on action game with just a horror setting. Let the series die. No need to force another imo.

I stopped at 2 due to a fk up i did when I was not feeling good that day. If i had finished 2 i would have gotten 3. Perhaps between prey playthroughs ill BC my dead space 2.
-
It's not happening anytime soon. They're busy with a Star Wars game.
-
We still need a third, but I'd be up for a fourth.
-
I didn't really care for the first 2 games and I completely skipped the 3rd. In my defence, I've out grown the Survival Horror genre. On paper, there are bits ( mostly narrative ) of Survival horror games that I still like, but in reality I no longer get any enjoyment out of physically playing these games.
-
I would like 2 different campaigns, one is Survival Horror (Single Player) and the other is Action (Co-Op) The story and events are all the same, its just the locations, ammo, weapons etc are all different depending on what mode you're playing

Edited by TonyPartridge30: 5/10/2017 3:06:32 PMI'd love a Dead Space 4. 3's true ending leaves on a kind of "no hope left" note. I think a 4th installment would be a great way to finally resolve some of the series lingering questions while also giving Visceral Games a chance to bring the series back to its survival horror roots that made DS 1 & 2 so freaking scary. Not to say I didn't like 3, because I did.
I had this idea that a 4th game could be played from the perspective of Ellie, and that Isaac could actually be the enemy, having become a sort of herald for the Brother Moons.
There was a three? I was out of the loop after the second one.
-
I would love to see a new Dead Space game. Unfortunately, the third one kinda set itself up to be an ending, in spite of some of it's cliffhangers.
It also doesn't help that the third story could use a retcon, if you ask me.
Only if they go back to Survival Horror & not turn the main character into a walking tank like they slowly did in 2 and completely did in 3
-
Nope series was ruined with the third game. Went from being a survival horror, to a microtransaction filled action game.
