Two vandals ran into the arena to grab Aviksis, and pulled the sword out of him. "My Kell, what should we do with him?"
"Keep him alive, then take him to the dungeons," Avilon ordered. The vandals dragged the massive Fallen away, and Avilon followed behind.
The crowds of Eliksni were outraged. Their Kell was defeated, and the victorious fighter was a living machine! A techno-god in disguise! They rattled the fencing and shouted at the exo.
"It's great to be Kell!" Avilon exclaimed as he threw his hands into the air, as if absorbing the glory.
Deep in the cave tunnels, small dens were being used as dungeon cells. Harkon was painting something on the door window of his cell, using his fingers. He dipped his hand into a small bag, then swiped his fingers across the glass. He stood back and gazed at his art. "Ah, masterpiece!" He said after kissing his fingers.
Soon, Avilon and a group of Fallen had entered, and walked down the hallway. "Put him in here," the exo ordered.
A vandal pressed a button on the wall, opening a cell door. They dragged the former Kell in, then threw him to the ground. They stepped out of the cell and locked Aviksis inside.
Avilon looked at the different cells. The dungeons, for most part, was empty. Only Aviksis and Harkon were locked up. Speaking of Harkon... Avilon turned to his cell, then stared at the writing on the door. "What the h***?..." The new Kell said to himself.
Harkin's Summr Kamp was written on the glass window in huge letters. The poorly spelled words had an eerie, neon green glow. Avilon took a closer look at the words. "Is that... firefly guts?..." he asked. "Harkon, you sick bas****,"
"You like it?..." Harkon said from behind Avilon.
Avilon panicked, then spun around and looked at the Awoken standing in the hallway... not in his cell! "How the h***, did you get out?!" He exclaimed.
Harkon looked around at the vandals that were aiming rifles at him, then looked down at himself. "I don't really know..." he replied.
"Get back in your cell!" Avilon yelled as he personally threw the hunter into the chamber.
"So..." Harkon started after getting to his feet. "Where do we stand on our agreement? I did, after all, get you out of the PoE..."
"Yes. You rescued me, and you're still alive," Avilon said as he shut the prison door.
Harkon slapped his face up against the glass, squishing his nose. "Life is overrated! I want my side of the deal!" He shouted.
Avilon and the vandals turned away and left the dungeons.
Avilon, and his personal Kell's Guard, walked back to the throne room of the Thieve's Den. In the back of the room, a skiff was docked in a cut in the rocks. The three boarded the skiff, and it soon left for the Thieve's Ketch up in Venus' orbit.
The small skiff slowly pulled into the hanger of the ketch, Terabiks-Fel. In the hanger, a Baroness, Kolrisi, and four vandals approached the docking ship. The Eliksni waited. A hatch on the skiff cracked open and hissed, allowing Avilon and his guards to step out onto the metal floor.
Kolrisi looked up at the exo in wonder. "Who are you?" She asked in Eliksni.
"I am Avilon, Kell of Thieves," the hunter replied.
"You... you are machine!" She exclaimed.
Avilon smiled. "I have come to speak with Keirvik," he said as he started to walk into the inner-sanctum of the ketch.
Kolrisi followed beside the exo. "How have you reached apotheosis?! I thought only Aksis had access to such technology!" The Baroness was dumbfounded.
"Aksis may have merged his body with machine, but he has no soul. He is an agent of a greater will. But, I was created as machine... And, I am slave to no one!" Avilon said as he clenched his fist.
"Shall I ever be worthy enough to ascend, my Kell?" Kolrisi asked, kissing up to this new demigod.
"All in due time. But, you must earn your worth. I need you to gather the crew of this ketch; I shall speak with them when I return," Avilon turned to his guards. "Wait here," he ordered.
Avilon walked through the halls, searching for the bridge. All around him, he could hear feet running for the hanger. Kolrisi truly wanted to please him.
Finally, the hunter found the bridge. The airlocks split open, allowing the Guardian in. In the chamber, a fully grown archon stood, tending to his technological patient. Above the archon, the servitor, Terabiks Prime sat in a socket, meant for pilot servitors.
Terabiks swiveled around and stared at Avilon. "You are no Eliksni!" The servitor growled in a mechanical voice.
The archon raised a shock rifle at the intruder, but lowered his weapon and stared in disbelief. "What are you?" He asked.
"I am machine, and I need your help, Keirvik. I sustained damage during my duel with Aviksis for Kellship, and I need repairs," Avilon replied.
"But... how? What is this Devil trickery?!" Keirvik asked.
"No, this is not SIVA. I am beyond SIVA; I actually contain a living soul in this body," Avilon replied with a smirk.
"What do you need of me, my Kell?" Keirvik asked, after looking at both Avilon and Terabiks.
"I need repairs," Avilon simply requested.
An hour later, Avilon and Keirvik walked out of the archon's workshop. The exo had new plates, and replaced wires. His whole body was polished and clean. "Go to the hanger and join with the Baroness. I have some business, with Terabiks, to attend to,"
"Yes, my Kell," Keirvik said with a slight bow. The archon left the Guardian alone on the bridge.
Avilon watched as the Eliksni left, then smiled deviously once the doors shut closed. He stuck one foot out, then pivoted on his other. Now, it was just the servitor and him. "It seems we have reached a conundrum, Terabiks. A terrible conundrum... The problem is, you are still seen as a god, but I'm the god here. And you're just a delivery boy. I would destroy you, but then the House will have no ether..."
"I distribute the ether, false god. I keep this House alive," Terabiks said matter-of-factly.
"Yes, and you will continue to do such. You and your little servitor children will keep the House breathing... but, you will not be known as Prime, I will..." Avilon reached up into Terabiks' control panels. He hooked himself in, then searched the programs. When he finished, Terabiks was nothing more than a pilot servitor drooling ether.
