Ever since destiny 2 was announced for PC. I've been wondering and asking myself will the game play out like The Division. When I say this I do not mean content wise but I mean on the aspect of that game being quite frankly ruined by cheaters, modders and hackers or what ever you wish to call them. I have yet decided if i will be playing the game on console (PS4 Pro) or on PC. The reason behind this is that I'm scared of pre ordering it to PC. Why I'm scared is because what if the game is totally ruined on the PC platform. Then I would want to switch to console but I would fall behind massively on the gear from the raids etc.
For me buying it to PC feels like a massive risk without having some sort of guarantee that the devs over at bungie will be working their asses of to patch and prevent hacks.
If you guys would look at the pros and cons of buying it to PC or to console, which one would you guys choose?
(with the fact that exclusive things for the PC platform will be announced on the stream in consideration)
Here are my pros and cons for the PC.
Cons = High chance for modders / hackers ruining the game, Sony has exclusive content.
Pros = assuming they will make the game capable of running higher graphics and better settings that is a huge pro, a lot of friends here at the PC community so will probably have full squads for raids etc. Much more comfortable setup. And the chance for competitive gaming to take a big step forward when the game releases on PC.

it could play out one of several ways. cracktivision could be lazy af and not do anything, they could ship with the latest version of denuvo DRM which is a lot harder to crack than other DRM options, they could also use Valve Anti-Cheat for the steam release which account bans you and all your multiplayer games if you cheat in an online game with VAC enabled.(valve don't care about cheating in single player only games, unlike microshaft and pony) if they're stupid they'll do another CoD release mistake and fragment their userbase by offering a PC version and a Steam version and a windows store version. only time will tell if they get their shit together, but activision marketing department are some of the dumbest game meddlers in the industry. it isn't on bungie for any of the shipping the game, that's the duty of the publisher.
