This chapter is a crossover with KSeth27, where his character from Blank Slate (Keis-51) makes an appearance. My story takes place in another timeline, so whatever happens in it does not affect KSeth27's story.

I saw it in slow motion. The rocket was inches from me when I felt something push me to the side. I fell on my back as the rocket flew by harmlessly. I looked up to see a warlock with his hand outstretched towards me, palm out. He quickly walked over to me and held out his hand. I grabbed it and pulled myself up.
"Thanks man!" I said.
He didn't respond.
"Hello?" I waved my hand in front of his face. His ghost appeared and said in a female voice, "I'm sorry. He does this a lot." she flew directly into his helmet with a loud clank. The warlock suddenly looked around and said, "Are you alright? You seemed to need assistance."
"Uh... Ya. I'm fine." I said confused. "I'm Jaden. This is Hex."
"I'm Blanc." his ghost said.
"And I'm Keis-51." The warlock said. He towered over me but I could see in his demeanor he was a broken man. You could see in his eyes he had lost things.
"Well thank you for the save." I said.
"Your welcome." he said.
"Hey, you want to stick together? I could use your help."
"yes I would be happy to stay with you and help you fight." he said.
"Thanks" I said.
TWO DAYS LATER.
A massive blast shook the wall as sniped my umpteenth fallen from my perch on the wall. I looked over at Keis-51 to see that he had thrown his Nova Bomb at the base of the wall.
"Good shot!" I yelled to him. He didn't respond.
I looked up as a sonic boom shook the wall. A skiff dropped down from orbit and began a kamikaze run at an area of the wall to my left. They had been doing that all day. I looked over to see a single guardian struggling to fit a new mag into her sniper. It was Jedesia. I took off running toward her yelling.
"LOOK OUT! INCOMING!"
She looked up but it was too late. A split second before the skiff hit I grabbed her around the shoulders and reached out my hand toward a spot of empty space on the city side of the wall. The skiff crashed into the wall and exploded, tearing a wide gash in the top of the wall.
