I think this is the part where tradition states that I have to make a long post detailing my history and memories on this site, what it's meant to me and how it's impacted my life as many others have done before me.
I honestly never thought I would make it to seven years on this damn website. It's a third of my life spent looking up Halo stats, lurking on stupid/funny threads, watching drama rise and fall countless times over, seeing people come and go, huddling around with Halo vets waiting for scraps of news during the Darkness and speculating on obscure puzzles and statements, eventually leaving The Darkness to see the rise of the new community and all the changes and fracturing it brought with it, and last but not least, shitposting and making sarcastic remarks in this place that I call my internet home.
For the majority of my time on this site, I've been a lurker, watching the community morph and fight itself, only posting stupid remarks when I felt like it. It was only in these past few months that I really decided to participate in the community on a regular level by making a post every day and connecting myself with the other randoms on this forum. I think I finally felt like after all these years of being a rando, I should finally attempt to make something different of these forums, even if it's just a simple daily countdown to events and birthdays.
I honestly don't know what else to talk about, I'm not one to enjoy talking about myself a lot, especially to random strangers, but I'll put some discussion value to this thread by saying AMA. That's how that works right?
Somewhere deep inside, my inner attention whore is smiling as we continue this daily reminder gimmick that I so deeply love and make a post all about ourselves, but I think deep in my heart I will always be a lurking literal who.
tldr: I've lurked and shitposted on this website for 7 years now, yippee for me.

Edited by ClusiveC: 5/2/2017 4:10:46 AMWe might be the same age, I've been here for like 6 years now or something, plus a few more months before I got my profile. I've been a lurker too. I remember the days of Darkseid Eric, the fall of the classic ranking system, the original porch day, etc. I bore witness to the rise of John Cena (wonder how many of you remember that kid). I was there during the days of Palien90, POKEY CLYDE, Octaian, etc.

I'd like to say I don't understand why when these forums generally suck all the life out of me, but that'd be hypocritical considering I always come back here every couple months after telling myself I'm quitting.
