Oryx, The Taken King gender and changes EXPLAINED

Now, I won't be talking off of myelin games, this will be my interpretation of Oryx. Today, I read almost all of the books of sorrow verses during school hours, Oryx was once a female proto-hive, named Aurash. She had two sisters, Xi Ro and Sathona. Their father was a proto-hive king, with a familiar, a dead worm, the osmium king later dying, Aurash took the familiar from his hands, it spoke to her like it did for her father, later revealing itself as a symbiotic worm god. They were promised immortality as a bargain to feed the worms. Aurash became Auryx, Sathona became Savathun the witch, and Xi Ro became Xivu Arath the knight. They fed the worms as a price for immortality, but were gods in a way. Auryx and his sisters showed love by killing each other, and killing off multiple alien races just to feed their worms keeping themselves from dying both spiritually.eventually, on their throne world the three of them decided they couldn't keep up with their worms' hunger so Auryx would kill his sisters, for their cleverness, trickery and other attributes. Auryx went after the worm god Akka, killing him for his power to talk to the darkness, starting his coronation as Oryx The Taken King, he now has the power to take. Years after he has the Dreadnaught constructed with multiple Hive artifacts. That's where Myelin games starts with the books of sorrow and Crota. Oryx made his throne on the Dreadnaught, making it his most vulnerable place. He had two daughters and Crota. The two sisters tricked Crota into cutting open a rift into the Dreadnaught where vex flooded in, and Quira. The Quira mad a simulation of Aurash, making Oryx see himself as a daughter again, it's weird. He eventually takes the giant vex, leaving a little bit of its own will, and giving it to her to study. That's how Oryx became a more tactical king. His sisters ended up leaving the Dreadnaught and Oryx to pursue their own goals, leaving Oryx alone with his son and daughters. That's pretty much it, all we need to know is who the mother of Crota and the daughters is.

    • To put it quickly, Aurash and her sisters Sathona and Xi Ro were the last children of the proto-Hive Osmium King, who had a dead Worm that spoke to him of dangers to their world When the King was killed they took his dead Worm and eventually found living Worms in Fundaments core. Upon forming a symbiosis with the Worms, Aurash took on the King morph like her father before her and changed to the male Auryx, the King of the Hive and the First Navigator. His sisters became Savathûn, the Wizard, and Xivu Arath, the Knight who oddly seems to still be female even though Knights are supposed to be male Later on, the Hive were almost destroyed and Auryx had to kill his sisters to gain their strength, which he then used to kill Akka the Worm so he could speak with the Darkness. The Darkness taught him how to Take, and he emerged as Oryx, the Taken King. Oryx then went on killing everything in his path and in doing so found ways to revive his sisters. All hive are born female and become male if they choose the King or the Knight morf. Xivu Arath is an exception.
