Seriously...
I popped on last night to play a few strikes, but after 1 Strike I just felt sick and switched off. I looked at all the pathetic posts on LFG:-
* 400's Only
* 3 deaths you get booted
* Must have Emblem
* 20+ Raid Clears Only (Checking Stats)
* No Squeakers
Destiny 2 is just around the corner and people are still taking this shit serious; for gear that is going to be obsolete in a month or 2. NOTHING IS GETTING CARRIED OVER!
Don't you guys understand?
I can understand sub 5000 Grimoire Iron Pups that just recently bought the game are still playing, but for everyone else; what keeps you playing this re-skinned / rehashed garbage?

My team... been playing with the same guys for about 2 years. So we get on, talk shit and play Destiny.
-
I play to run around with my friends i made over the past 3 years and just have a good time.
-
The book
-
For fun
-
i dont lol, just waiting for D2
-
Because in my FireTeam I set my rules. Just like the guy/gal set their rules. When you create your FireTeam you can set whatever you want. =)
-
I just play for fun. Tho I should point out I've never done a raid, game still a lot of fun my fav weapon to use is no land beyond
-
Because shooting stuff in destiny feels awesome. That's it really. And I've grown attached to my Hunter and Warlock. They're like a part of me. Been working on them for 2 and a bit years now.
-
I'm still playing because I have fun.
-
I live and breathe the Crucible
-
It's the strike modifiers. I live for the weeks of elemental burns + either specialist or small arms. Then, I can grind those for hours, get rep, and maybe get the god roll badger I've been looking for for over a year.
-
Maybe because kids come in without a clue of what they are doing. It wastes everybody's time if you have to teach a -blam!-ing 8 year old how to work the pillars in kings fall. Its easier to set parameters so you don't get stuck for hours. Not everybody has all day to carry annoying ass kids that use -blam!-ing hard light on golgoroth.
-
Why do people play video games? What a stupid post.
-
Bc it's an obsession/addiction Call it what you want
-
I'm not 400LL yet. Sooooo....
-
Eh maybe because we like it. It's fun. Last chance for collectors to get the few items they are missing and seriously what else is out that can beat this. You even jumped back on to do 1 strike
-
One word: Potential.
-
If we didn't still play Destiny, then who would make all these awesome posts?
-
The elements of the game just kind of perfectly combine for me. I've played tons of other MMO games and these are the things that turn me off of them: -getting to endgame takes hundreds of hours -character crafting is extremely complex and unforgiving -gear and loadout options are complex and unforgiving -amount of content is overwhelming Neverwinter Online, DC Universe, Elder Scrolls Online, Warframe... they all fall under these issues. I don't have the time to learn builds and carefully craft my skills and stats to a specific playstyle that I'll be locked into. Destiny shoots you to endgame pretty quickly and let's you play. Other games "prepare" you for endgame by forcing you to spend months slogging through levels, gaining a new skill every so often that may or may not even be useful. tl;dr: I can get satisfaction from playing Destiny without investing an exorbitant portion of my free time in it.

I lost interest in destiny a long while ago but kept playing cuz I met someone and really only kept playing for her. She made the game fun again. Now I kinda just play out of habit I guess. I don't touch pve anymore unless I get asked for help and even my patience for it is low asf. I still enjoy crucible though......to a certain point. Can only deal with so much bullshit no primary lag 😂. Not too mention how toxic it's gone too these past few months. Even without her I can still get some laughs out of this game though so I'll keep playing for now while I wait for destiny 2

The PVP salt and toxicity nourish my soul, along with a good dose of fusion grenades
-
Because I need professional help and can't afford it. Maybe I should start a go-fund-me page?
-
I don't #owforlife
-
Cuz its fun to play w/friends
-
I don't. My goal was to get to 400. Done that. No need to play anymore. Plenty of other real AAA titles to sink my teeth into.

I dont
