Seriously...
I popped on last night to play a few strikes, but after 1 Strike I just felt sick and switched off. I looked at all the pathetic posts on LFG:-
* 400's Only
* 3 deaths you get booted
* Must have Emblem
* 20+ Raid Clears Only (Checking Stats)
* No Squeakers
Destiny 2 is just around the corner and people are still taking this shit serious; for gear that is going to be obsolete in a month or 2. NOTHING IS GETTING CARRIED OVER!
Don't you guys understand?
I can understand sub 5000 Grimoire Iron Pups that just recently bought the game are still playing, but for everyone else; what keeps you playing this re-skinned / rehashed garbage?
-
Friends and raids keeps me playing, i took couple month break before AoT because there was nothing to do, now atleast there is 390 raids
-
This is what I've been thinking. I bought the complete edition a few weeks ago, and I just want to do the raids I didn't get to do earlier (I only did VoG before I stopped playing). It's super difficult to find a team for the 290 Oryx fight because nobody wants to anymore. I wish there was some sort of matchmaking for raids that had a penalty for leaving. Maybe no penalty after X amount of fails?

I just really like Destiny. I like how it feels and plays. It's been my game ever since it came out. I honestly can't remember me playing that many games before it and it's just felt like my kind of game.
-
For 3 reasons: 1. To defy people who say Destiny as a whole is dead. 2. To get ALL THE GRIMOIRE! 3. Because this game is still fun for me.
-
I enjoy playing with my friends that I've met on Destiny. I think Destiny is the most fun game to play when you have 5 or 6 people. I don't play much by myself.
-
I don't play much anymore to be honest. Nearly three years in Tue game has pretty much run its course for me. I'll jump on every once in a while if I'm bored and there are fun modifiers for the weekly activities, but at this point I've run out of goals I care to achieve. I'm just looking forward to D2!
-
i dont, destiny forums is a much more fun game
-
And yet here you are
-
Because it's a great -blam!-ing shooter and I love pvp..... it's especially rewarding to kick the whiner ass I see on this board so often.
-
It's fun.
-
Then make your own. I regularly join groups with the dumb requirements in your post and we beat raids in 45 minutes. Then I join raids with "385+ only" and "Help carry us through" and I spend 2 hours listening to whiny squeakers fail at basic raid encounters. There's a reason people have those requirements.
-
Only reason is just helping friends with Trials. Only time I'm playing that garbage.
-
If you don't like them type of posts then simply make your own. I play because it's fun, entertaining and challenging, even now.
-
Easy to pick up play an hr or 2 and go to bed
-
The only reason why i play is because I'm to poor to buy any other game
-
Cause yolo
-
Sounds like you're a pve player. Pvp players have alot of fun still in this game. Still love it
-
4 tha lewt
-
I know it's sad,but for some reason I just want my nerd shirt. I still feel entertained mostly,or at least occupied. It's cheaper than building guitars,restoring old cars,or any of my other hobbies.
-
It's fun, and I enjoy the people I play with. Yes, if I was alone I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. Get a group and have fun while shooting shit in the face.

Edited by Vegan Superhero: 4/27/2017 7:08:27 PMAfter doing each challenge mode raid I have no reason to play it anymore either. PvP just isn't worth my time, ive played every single strike to death, and the story mission Playlist ain't anything special. Ah well, Dark Souls 3, Skyrim and other titles will keep me entertained untill destiny 2, that is if it looks promising and isn't full of the same mistakes.
-
Edited by wolf: 4/27/2017 6:53:25 PMIt's fun. Sorry you got bored of the game.
-
Dont forget the recov.accounts for money cheaters and the ppl that cry for a carrie in trials Just lol...
-
Because I find it fun. Nuff said.

How did grimore become a high water mark for experience? What does running around picking up dead ghost have to do with anything? To me it just shows someone is a completionist, nothing wrong with that, who dedicated a large part of their time on Destiny's easter egg hunt. I have nearly every exotic piece of gear as well as almost every card associated with PVP and PVE kills. I have beaten all raids, and story content. My grimore score last I checked is around 3900+. So, where did this Idea of grimore elitism come from? I would much rather spend time in the crucible, raids, or weekly content instead of mucking about on maps and planets playing find the ghost. I would like to understand this mentality. Honest question.

I prevented myself for still playing Destiny, yesterday. For my addiction, this was the only solution: https://postimg.org/image/g1q1ddluz/ Reason: Prevent more broken pvp frustration.
