Un-mute your mutelist...
I realized today that you CAN have good conversations with people you disagree with...
Like take for intense ghost420...We all know who he is...And when it comes to politics I disagree with him a lot...BUT on other topics we have good conversations...
Same with a few other well known conservative people here...
True there may be things you don't like or agree with on a certain topic...But that doesn't mean there isn't common ground or other topics that you could learn from or add to...
So yeah do it... Un-mute and let ALL of offtopic into your life...

It would take me hours to unmute everyone on my list...

No. I mute people who make this site less enjoyable. I'm not going to willingly converse with folks who go out of their ways to be antagonistic or negative to others. I also mute gimmick users. I keep most folks who disagree with me unmuted, but if you're going to disagree and be a dick about it then I don't want to talk to you.
-
I don't mute because I'm not 9.

Edited by logan678910 65: 4/28/2017 5:40:26 AMMy mute list is already empty.

As much as I disagree with some people and as much as they can get on my nerves I'd still smoke one with ghost or have a beer with uncle peedee
-

I just cleared my mute list but, I'm 100% sure at least one person has me muted.

I never have or never will mute a single person on here. To be frank I like opposition it's what iether A. Gives me an alternative perspective B. Reminds me why I hold my beliefs I don't even report people usually I think I've reported only like two times and one was because someone was posting my picture and saying they were me. World views are going to clash enjoy it it will help you learn how to argue your position better

Why would you mute people? You're taking away the toxic personality of this meme fest
-
Edited by Silent: 4/27/2017 3:52:05 AMI don't have anyone muted. Every once in awhile someone I want to ignore will post something funny.
-
Sure. I've only got like 6-7 people muted. And I am pretty sure they are from the Gaming subforum.
They either could barely understand English or were being idiots while yelling at me lol.
The only person I have muted is noiseless purse

Edited by Megamind: 4/27/2017 1:49:44 AMI only have 1 person muted, and that is Slade Wilson, and I have no idea why, he probably spammed something.
-
I don't mute anyone because it's just words on a screen.
-
I'm pretty sure MadMax has me muted. I consider it an accomplishment that I triggered him that badly.
-

Challenge accepted

i love how people on here think that not muting someone makes them masculine, tolerant, intellgent men who represent what humanity should be -blam!-ing lmao, no it doesnt
-
For some users, muting is more an act of insecurity than dislike or exasperation. When headstrong people find their belief system regularly called into question with compelling, well thought criticisms, their instant reaction becomes bias preservation. It is easier to just silence - in the spirit of the Ostrich with its head in the sand - ideas that call scientific dogma into question.

Edited by Esko: 4/26/2017 12:58:09 AMKP is the only one on it and -blam!- that guy
