Avilon and Harkon trudged through the jungle, moving ever closer to the volcano. "Sooo... How've ya been?..." Harkon asked.
The exo, trying to ignore that a gun was aimed at his head, turned to the hunter. "Fan-f***in'-tastic..." The two continued to walk in silence for a moment.
"I miss my old, Void face..." The Awoken said somberly.
"Me too, you looked better with it..." Avilon replied sarcastically.
Harkon snapped his head towards Avilon, then yanked him to a halt. "Are you saying... I'm... ugly?!" The hunter exclaimed.
"Of course not," Avilon said sarcastically. "If I were going to call you ugly, I'd make it blatantly obvious..."
"Uh, huh..." Harkon replied, unconvinced. "Good... I'm the sexist thing you've seen all day..."
"It's still early..." Avilon replied.
The two hunters found themselves in a rock village. Spires and boulders were scattered all around them. "We have an entrance over here," the four armed exo said as he ducked under a rock.
Suddenly, several Fallen surrounded the hunters. Harkon wrapped his arm around Avilon in a choke hold as he looked around. He waved the Thorn at the various vandals that appeared on the rocks.
Avilon took his shock dagger and jabbed it into Harkon's side. The Awoken released him, then looked down at the knife stuck in him. Avilon joined the ranks of Fallen, then took a shock rifle handed to him.
"Don't worry, Bright Eyes, I'm not mad," Harkon said condescendingly. "This, this is what I wanted..." The hunter continued after ripping the knife out of him.
"What?..." Avilon asked.
"No matter!" Yelled a deep, commanding voice. "He is prisoner!" Said a massive Eliksni: Aviksis, the Kell of Thieves.
Two vandals walked up to Harkon, about to arrest him. Harkon took the shock dagger and shoved it through the ribs of one vandal, then shot the other twice! The hunter ripped the knife out of the Eliksni, but before it hit the ground, he thrust it through its neck!
Every other Fallen, Avilon included, raised their weapons in response! "Stop!" Aviksis ordered. "I will take him myself!" The Kell pulled out his arc blades, then approached Harkon.
The hunter turned, grinned cheesily, then poked his chin out. "Go ahead," the hunter said as he pointed to his neck. "Give it your beeessst shot..."
Aviksis lowered his weapons, very confused. He grabbed Harkon by the neck and threw him towards some vandals, who handcuffed him.
"What, you're not going to fight me? I'm disappointed..." Harkon made a pouty face. The Fallen started to drag him away. "Hey, wait! I want those bodies! I want 'em!! I killed them fair and square!" The Awoken shouted.
Avilon watched as all the Fallen burrowed their way through the caves. What just happened? What did Harkon mean about wanting the bodies? Avilon thought for a moment. The bones, he wanted their bones. But why? He had a full set of "armor" already. Finally, the exo followed the Fallen inside.
"My Kell, the Guardian in the dungeon is planning something. He wanted me to lead him here from the start... I don't know what he has in mind, but it has something to do with corpses," Avilon marched around the throne room.
"He will remain in the prison. He will rot away," Aviksis replied as he drummed his fingers.
Avilon stopped and laughed. "Oh, no, my Kell. This bas**** doesn't rot. He. Doesn't. Die. We should keep an eye on him..."
