You would have to out number the multitude of 35 year old gamers with liquid income who spend on average $300 a month on gaming and micro transactions.
To the point that you free to play players would make even more of a dent in profits than the millions of us.
You have a better chance of screaming against the wind of a thousand hurricanes.
If you have liquid income and can afford that, great, I'm happy for you. However, when you say "multitude", you are implying that there's a great number of people in the world with that type of income. You are wrong. Most people in the world don't have that type of income.
Sorry to bring you to reality, but I can see you live in a different state of mind than most people. Let me tell you, there's not too many people out there spending $300 a month on video games and micro transactions. That's how rich people go broke, and if you can still afford that, then you are in an even lower percentage of the general populations income.
Game developers make the majority of their sales from the game, dlc and micro transaction sales are just a bonus.
You say free to play like we haven't already paid for the game?
Just what do I have a better chance at? I get that screaming against the wind is a losing scenario, but what am I taking a chance with? Please explain that one if anything.
