I'm open to just about everything — Rock, Pop, Rap, Country, Jazz, Metal, Gaming OSTs, Classical, Gospel, Alternative, Electronic, J-Pop, Screamo, and I also like covers and fanmade songs from amateur artists — I listen to and enjoy music from all of these and more.
Genre means nothing to me. It can be some Reggae shit, some German Heavy Metal shit, some Vocaloid shit, whatever. Share something with me that you like, even if it's strange to most people. Or it can be something quite ordinary, whatever comes to your mind.

>>> If you want to share multiple songs, I want each song to be from a different genre. If you don't feel comfortable sharing your rather unusual music publicly, send it to me in a private message. If you want me to tell you honestly what I think of the music you share, say so and I eventually will (probably). Provide direct links.
Also, if you're familiar with me and my posts, you'll know that it's not unlikely for me to abandon a thread that I lose interest in. So don't be surprised if that happens.
ISON - Cosmic Drone The album title is actually a fairly good description of its genre. Slow, ambient, spacey, melancholic, beautiful. Samples of Neil deGrasse Tyson here and there (at least I'm pretty sure it's him), lyrics are all to do with various aspects of space. One of the best albums I've ever heard. Siouxsie & the Banshees - Jigsaw Feeling Back when punk was getting old (as influential as it was, punk as a proper scene was only around for about three years iirc) some musicians decided to experiment with a darker sound. This experimentation (posthumously named 'post punk') later paved the way for the sounds of goth thanks to bands like Bauhaus, Joy Division, Killing Joke and these guys. Dark, introspective, thoughtful punk. Jefferson Airplane - Fat Angel Blues based psychedelia circa 1969. The music really speaks for itself. One of the best live bands that has ever existed.

Edited by michael: 4/17/2017 6:39:59 AMgaming OSTs- halo 2, 3, and 3: ODST soundtracks. rap- logic. an all time favourite. alternative- twenty one pilots instrumental- brock berrigan "old" music- ella fitzgerald and louis armstrong's collaborative album. legendary stuff. edit// forgot it was a specific song so hold on. halo OSTs- never forget. what else? or the ODST title screen music. don't remember the name. logic- gang related. its sung in the perspective of his brother (he confirmed this in an interview) so don't get the impression that he was out shooting people for money. go to geniuslyrics and read up on this song, some fine lyricism here. twenty one pilots- well pretty much every one of their songs is different from the other so if i gave you one specific song you might listen to it and not like it, then assume they're a bad band. so i won't give you one specific song for them. brock berrigan- diamond in the rough, easily. ella and louis- can't take that away from me, again, easy choice.
