So yeah, the first trailer for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is being shown at the Star Wars Celebration at 4PM BST, and will then go live (if it's not leaked first, though presumably in shit quality) an hour later. It's apparently just a teaser, but that's what they titled the Ragnarok trailer and that was pretty meaty.
Besides, it's April and the film comes out in December. We should be seeing a bit of it by now.
In the meantime, what is your favourite trailer score ever? Mine would have to be this slice of utter magnificence, from - yes - The Force Awakens. My apologies to Marty (Finish the Fight is the score to my favourite trailer ever, but not my favourite trailer score), to Hans Zimmer, to... Jeremy Soule and Jack Wall, I guess, too, but this... the light innocence and curiosity of the piano, swelling to incomparable bombast and grandeur, the epic return of the single most iconic franchise in fiction.
How about you?
4 and 5 BST translate as 11AM and noon Eastern, and 8 and 9 AM Pacific.

I realize it's early days yet but didn't see anything in the trailer to get me exited. I guess they figure they can go the slow burn approach. It's interesting that they seem to be pushing Star Wars away from its roots as pulpy good vs evil to more shades of grey. I guess that's more in keeping with the current Zeitgeist. Still, can't help but feel some of the charm of the originals is the innocence and simplicity.
