Damn I missed that, ooh ok I got a headshot?
Bang on target, what I didn't even get a body shot??!!!
Wtf Bungie seriously!

The only thing I see getting worse and it seems more so with snipers are them damn curving bullets, swear so many times I was behind a -blam!-ing wall today in trials and I still get domed with a sniper shot

Edited by NECRO_TYPE1: 4/17/2017 2:45:21 PMHappened a few times in Trials on Friday. Total headshot..... never registered. Queue crying Jordan gif.

It's simple you aim up as far as the stick goes and a little to the left and you'll hit atleast 3 people's heads if you really try, sniper hit registration is a joke cus it's so damn easy
-
Git gud scrub
-
It's lag. I've had it work both ways, shots that were 100% bodies ending up as headshots. Kills around walls, just something you have to accept with p2p connections.
-
All you people do is body shot then finish off with wormwood.

I looked frame by frame at some sniper shots I missed and interestingly enough I found that higher range does less damage but hits a target in one frame. If it has max stability and low range it hits harder but hits in second frame. I did this with a Hawksaw too. Range basically speeds up bullet time.

I remember one sniper montage around year ago when whoever made it slowed for every kill and had some epic music playing on backround ofc, it was funny to watch when he aimed 5m left from the opponent and still got the kill...
-
I actually had a couple kills where body shots counted as a head shot and vice versa. It has been wierd since the very last update to snipers, not the most recent update to special but the one about changing scopes and reducing stability.

I purposely shot a guy in the foot last night, full health.. registered as a headshot got the kill. gj bungie

Curve the bullet...
-
That lag, tho
-
Peer to peer connection for you...

Hit detection has been shitty in general, I've had people charge straight through full mags of Last Word and 4th Horseman, as well as Matador shots miss while literally touching the person.

Stopped using NLB. Not because of the added flinch but because of the poor hit registration.
