You miss the point entirely..... it isn't about money..... it is a fact that games in recent history with high pre-orders have had HUGE problems at launch with hardly any exceptions and that's almost every game that has had to have a massive day 1 patch. This almost assuredly because the publisher got it's money from moron paying for something they haven;t even -blam!-ing seen and doesn't see a reason to sweat something like facial animations.... or rampant crashes or game breaking bugs that stop players from being able to progress through the game further.
Your entire argument is off the mark just having money to throw at low quality games that yes have millions spent but still manage to ship with HUGE flaws, shallow lacking content. You buy games for the premium price and companies still have the nerve to ask for more money without any quality assurance that the game they deliver will even -blam!-ing work. MCC,destiny,MEA, are all examples of games that were flawed, broken or virtually hollow at launch.

Cant go wrong preordering a souls game. Though DS3 was the last :(

souls games were always great (aside from soul memory) but I feel like the dev team on that truly gave a shit about the quality of there product.

Edited by JenovaRAVE: 4/13/2017 6:52:37 AMI wouldn't expect any less from a Japanese developer, for the most part. Different business model over there.

Okay good job, go to the movies but don't pay until you see the end.

The end of a movie is not the entire sum of it's quality.
Okay good job, go to the movies but don't pay until you see the end.
That doesn't make sense at all. Before you go to a movie's you get to watch the previews and sometimes watching the previews show just about the entire movie. Gaming companies will show you thing that aren't necessarily in the game so you don't know what you are actually getting. So I don't understand how you can even compare when pre-ordering a game doesn't even come close to showing you what a movie preview does.

That's what reviews are for, to inform you if it's a good purchase or not
