As we finish King's Fall, we watch what's left of Oryx; possibly the most powerful Hive God ever; being consumed by his worm as he drifts gently through space towards Saturn. Defeated. But something still lurks... Something more sinister than any Hive God.
When Oryx grew to godhood, he was given the larvae of the Worm Gods, being promised that they'll grant their race unimaginable power, to save themselves from extinction. But with the growth of power came the growth of the larvae, and it's hunger. A hunger so powerful that Oryx finally fell, defeated by his own logic.
As Oryx's decaying husk breaks Saturn's orbit, it is sucked into the hot core of the gas giant, a place where nothing could survive...But a Worm God
(explanation below)
It makes sense that the Worm Gods Knew that a desperate race could grow to great power with their larvae, and the larvae would grow to create very powerful Worm Gods, and one may have grown from Oryx. If my theory is correct, there is a newly born Worm God lurking in Saturn's core, much like the Worm Gods on Fundament (a gas giant that is the Hive's home world). After we deal with the Cabal attack, this may very much become a large issue to us
I realize people have thought of this before, but with the book of sorrows and my newfound realization, I think it would be cool if the nine were nine ahamkara. The ahamkara are heavily suggested to be the Worms. I mean think about it. Both the worms and the ahamkara make deals with things and ask for a price, both can survive after death, and both use a similar style of speech. If the nine are Worms, I'd imagine some of them would be the worm gods of the hive. This would tie up some of the loose ends of the hive story. Plus it would make sense. The nine are the last remaining worms(besides the ones in the dreadnought) in Sol after the great ahamkara hunt. Xur could simply be, like his name suggests, a agent of the nine. Not necessarily the nine. Xur gives us powerful weapons for strange coins. Similar to how the worms give power for a price. Anyways, just a thought.

Wow you're a year late.

Really? I think that skin is terrible. AWP default skin is way better than that trash.

As long as they don't turn it into another Hive-centric DLC that'd be kinda cool... Imagine a raid where the only enemy is a Worm God (whatever form that takes) coiled up at the centre of Saturn, using the planet against us as we try to get at it. And the only way we can defeat it is by destroying the planet itself

As far as I know, we don't know where or what the Hive home world is or is at yet
