Past performance is a pretty good predictor of future behavior. If you've enjoyed Destiny you'll likely enjoy Destiny 2 barring major changes to the game engine. If you're one of the forum rage machines you will likely continue to be. That's pretty much how this works.

The question isn't even necessarily that you enjoyed it or not, it's also about value of DLC over time, continued live support, and whether or not having the game now vs at year 2 has any advantages
