I just started this thread so that the message is clear and Bungie takes action.
The community had an outcry when bloom was introduced in Halo: Reach, and the same exact thing happened when it was introduced in Destiny. Video gamers do not like bloom. It is damaging to a video game when you aim a weapon, and the bullet does not go where your pointer is.
Range should simply affect damage drop off and target acquisition. If you're worried about a ttk that is too quick, adjust the fire rate of the weapon.
If there is any other guardian who feels strongly about this, please voice your opinion here so that Bungie notices and supports our request.
Thank you.

Bungie: So what you're saying is.......... Nerf Fusion Rifles in Destiny 2? Got it.
-
Bro honestly i know they put bloom in to close the skill gap or whatever but just because someone is better than you with a certain weapon doesn't you get to screw all of us over.
-
Bloom can be defeated... If you have the talent.
-
100% agree, it creates to many inconsistencies to a point where where gunfights are won and lost on this one mechanic
-
I thought bloom only affected hip fire

We remove it and HCs become OP as hell

I actually don't mind bloom. It just needs to be shown in game, how much a gun is affected by it. That way we know what we are using.
-
Agreed but cap the impact so its not a hard hitting scout rifle with perfect handling. Or cap reload speed and restrict ammo to 6 or something.
-
I don't think they can remove inaccuracy. That's on your end.

Edited by Black_Widow503: 4/9/2017 2:16:23 AMIn case people haven't noticed there is either bloom on snipers now or just terrible connection issues. I have had consistent experiences and multiple times in strikes where the first two bullets or even the whole first magazine dissipates into thin air. Does no damage. Also, I have a video where the No Land Beyond's bullet went straight up from the front of the barrel on the gun, instead of going straight. It was a test and my friend just stood still for me to test it. I missed a clear headshot in a private match and recorded it, and the bullet literally shot to the sky. It was aimed at his head. So I'm pretty sure that is bloom? On snipers, or they nerfed them so much they are broken now? They have stealth nerfed so much crap in this game and that's why balance needs separated in D2. I do not trust Bungie to know how to balance a game like Destiny and if the changes all stay in pvp I could care less. BUT... If they think they can separate it and then start doing twice the nerfs in pve too, well then, I'm gone too. I can see them separating the balance and then start nerfing everything in pve to shit anyway to spite all of us. Trolls. I hope not! If so, I will miss this game and its community, but I won't be participating in something like that anymore. I can't condone such mistreatment of a game. I wouldn't be able to watch it done any longer.
