So i just saw a post about how nowadays all games have a deathbarrier and often with counter. That's not fun. That's not open world feeling.
So if you must kill us to prevent us from going somewhere in destiny 2 just make it so that there are strong enemies that are very likely to kill us. The thing is if done right this will encourage players to try hard to go there but since you can spawn like 100 enemies it's not really possible. Players will just think that the world continues there but are just not strong enough.
If ,on top of that , there are loot drops from those enemies that get better the more you fight them and the reward has to be picked up ,this could make for a fun unintended endgame activity.
