You're high if you think it's good. I don't get salty about games often but this "mass effect" is garb
-
After about 60 hours I beat the game and, right after I beat the game I fell through the floor in the tempest and was stuck in a tiny black box. I couldn't fast travel out so I had to reload the last autosave which was right when I was falling through the floor. It was impossible to get out, so I had to reload the save before that which was the start of the last mission.
-
Good game but the cutscenes get really glitchy like the NPCs are ghosts
-
After extensive playtime it's not even the faces that annoy me. It's the fact that even in cutscenes the backgrounds load over time. In cutscenes... how lazy is that?
-
Hugely mediocre compared to what people expected. Whether our expectations were too high or the quality of the game is too low is another debate. Just very average and overall forgettable. Not a good thing or a bad thing, just kind of there.
-
I agree minus the fact that there's bugs. For example, there's this one bugged door part of a side quest where you have to disable the defense matrix and get a container with some loot(optional). I had to reload 3 different saves for it to open
-
Yeah, except for face animations, I have no complaints.

Edited by JumpingZebra428: 4/2/2017 12:39:47 AMAwesome game just to many bugs. I had Renemant get stuck in the ground, conversations not happening when I open the door on the tempest, etc.

It's complete and utter garbage!
0/100000 can't -blam!- a Krogan
Edited by ExOdUsBlAdE: 4/1/2017 1:28:05 PMI like it too. haven't done much in the way of side quests cuz I gotta know, but the next play through will be more methodical
-
Agreed.

First game were a scanning mechanic hasn't become irritating nor has mineral farming and I'm 60 hrs in. It has its faults and some are very lazy as in I'm sure even a blind person wouldn't have missed them. Enemies floating in the air, eye twitches let alone the facial animations and a few other more minimal bugs. Overall an enjoyable experience and a game that's going to tide me over for a week or more still.
-
Can you please be more specific? I'm torn between getting it or not yet you saying it's good without any reasoning doesn't help.
-
It's a lot of what I wanted destiny to be. Now if destiny 2 decides to add multi faction wars and a more compelling single player I'd be pretty happy.
-
I agree, as an avid Mass Effect fan from nearly day 1 I can safely say it's great. It has its shortcomings for sure, but every Mass Effect had serious bugs and shortcomings so in that sense it blends in. On a personal note, it reminds me of playing the original Mass Effect for the first time. The sense of wonder and exploration, getting into tedious side quests and meeting fascinating characters in the process.
-
I love it, but it has some faults. I just hope they didn't do irrevocable harm to the franchise's future prospects. It has what I consider an unjustified stigma, stemming mostly from a smear campaign started because some the facial animations are wonky. It deserves better, and I hope they get the chance to try again and get everything right next time.

Good gameplay, Good story, Poor face Lolz

Its good, very good but not without flaws.
-
The gameplay got my attention. Everything else... Well... Not soo enjoying.
-
As an original trilogy I disagree entirely. The writing, characters and entire presentation have taken a huge step back.
-
I enjoy it too. Don't see why everyone gives Bethesda a pass for shit animation and ai in a game with a shit plot and boring setting while mass effect andromeda doesn't
-
So, without spoiling too much, how -blam!-ed would I be if I held out on doing some side quests?
-
You're entitled to your opinion but for those of us that played the original three it's probably below average. Outside the odd face animations it's lacking in so many area. There is a ton to explore but nothing worth exploring, the arsenal of weapons and armor is small and boring. There may be 100 assault rifles but it's really only 10 because they are in tiers. The combat is also lacking finesse and it's so clunky. This game is less than average for now until they fix these issues. This game may be good compared to that God awful game no man's sky.
-
I agree. This past 10 years has made most of us gamers spoiled whiny babies...
